Bloody hell you could almost cry - he looks shattered, like a shell of a player - such a shame, such a waste

He's obviously not a pro footballer anymore or even trying to live the life of one i hope he has been putting his money aside and not blowing it all.

Saying that he has been lucky to have done it,i wish i could have played one pro game and now hopefully he will go and have a ood life doing something else maybe he could buy out HMV.

Corrected for you.

Wasn't it only 12 months ago that he was on loan at Leicester?

Not going to lie, this news will undoubtedly make his impending comeback in two weeks a little more challenging.

The pic is now trending on Twitter.

When he was asked to pose for a picture he was faced with two scenarios.

1. Tell them to get lost and risk someone posting on a message board about how they met him and he was a dick to them.
2. End up on twitter with the whole football world laughing at him.

I feel a tad sorry for him tonight, he probably has a few issues. Being a worldwide joke probably is not helping.

Sad for him.He was a talent and the injuries were just too much to recover back to his best whatever else went on.

Good luck for the future Michael I hope something works out.

I can't feel sorry for someone who is pretty much out of work and earning 50,000 a week. Had his chance and blew it. There are 47,000 people at City every other week who would give anything to wear that shirt and all he seems to have done is eat, get pissed and crash cars drunk. He should have got his head down and got fit not gone to the pub and kebab shop.

Is it his fault he got offered 50k a week and got injured? He did get his head down and got fit again, only to break down again.

I think it is fair to assume their is something a little more to his downfall. He might be on 50k a week but would I want to be him? No chance.

Very sad!
What a waste.
Surprised the club dont insist he has some sort of training regime/diet if he's still on our books.
It cant be healthy being that heavy even if he has an injury.

Really though? What if the guy has got mental health issues (which I think is pretty likely)? Would you really rather be dead rich but hate your life or would you in fact, rather be not so rich (definitely not poor though, cos nobody on this whole fuckin forum knows what poverty really is do they?) but happy with a loving wife and kid like yourself?

I go to bed every night knowing fine well I am where I am in life knowing fine well it was not down to bad luck. I never had a dream life dangled in front of me only for my body to give up on me. My life did not peak when I was 19 years old nor do I have to worry about reading about what could have been for me in newspapers/message boards.

He may have been a prick that drank ate and smoke too much but ask yourself what you would have done at 21 with all that money knowing fine well your best days are behind you. Imagine him sitting in his house tonight after years of obscurity realizing that the whole country is laughing at him.

Would not wish that on anyone.

This is now yet another negative story about our club to be found in the Daily Hitler.
