When will these kind of double standards be challenged??
In a period where Baconface has blatantly brought the game into disripute calling for players to be banned "for a long time", harassing refs and linesmen and then slated the refs performance.

the corrupt always close ranks in these matters, one day it will all come out just like armstrong with his drugs, hopefully ill be around when it does, thats 2 managers this season to be fined over the same thing, martinez being the other.

Interesting thing was that BFS complained. He's part of the wine club and wasn't suppose to, just like Martinez, or Pardew who he'd done things for in the past.

Maybe some of them will start taking points as well

I think it is disgraceful that he has been charged. The bloke gives his opinion on the two situations and their similarities along with the grievance he has with the decisions. No connotations should come from this.
The refs are allowed to punish any player he sees or thinks cheat through diving or any other misdemeanour, yet the manager of a team is not permitted to question a refs ethics. Bull shit.
The two incidents should be looked at by a panel and the ref should be asked to answer why he gave one and not another.

Strange that when manager's say something regarding United they get hauled before the board yet Rasher Chops can bring a referees integrity into question prior to a game but nothing is said.

This is is latest regarding the Kompany red card, basically saying the FA got it wrong.

"But it is very unusual.

"It does open the door of course, but that is their (the FA's) problem."

"It was a two-footed tackle," Ferguson told ITV Sport. "I think it was a red card, absolutely - I've seen him do it before.

"Maybe he's got off with it in the past, but we're lucky because if he makes contact with Nani, he's got a problem.

"It would have been a real bad one. I think the referee was right in that instance."

Good to see he makes the FAs mind up for them. Wonder what he had to say about this one?

That was Wednesdays (2 days ago) replay against West Ham in the FA Cup. Big Phil had the perfect view (unlike Dean) and you could see him mouthing to the sidelines that it wasn't a red as he was obviously getting some info from the 4th official.

Was that a red? What was the difference between the 2 handball shouts?

i've not seen a replay of THAT penalty (since it happened), but i've NEVER forgotten it, i can't THANK you for posting it, because it pissed/pisses me off so much, but it's nice to see that my memory doesn't deceive me.

I'm not surprised by the charge at all! You can't start accusing the ref of being biased the way he did and any other manager including the whiskey nosed cunt would've been charged!

It is bull shit though how they're getting away with these sort of decisions time and time again!!!

Phil Dowd failed at least one fitness test last year, which begs the question as to why he's allowed to ref games. At the Theatre of Increasing Desperation the other night, we got our answer.

Don't understand how a middle aged like with a football up his shirt is expected to keep up with 25 year old athletes. If he can pass the fitness test, that should be the proof it's not rigorous enough.
