Man Of The Match v Fulham

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Jan 19, 2013 6:21 pm

Had to listen to it on the radio so can't really comment too much. Sounded like quite afew of our players didn't have the best of games, Milner, Tevez and Dzeko to name a few. Silva sounded great, so did Vince.

I want to vote for the goalpost - if he hadn't intervened we could have ended up dropping two points

Same as for me but Silva gets the nod for his goals ...... should have bagged a fantastic skillfull hatrick , nevermind , him scoring goals again is a massive plus for our cause and title push !

We are very much a different side when we have our fullbacks available.

me for going. spent 2 hours digging my car out of the drive, freezing cold, maine road chippy chips were totally off-form, worst atmosphere i've ever experienced at any football match, and a boring as fuck match. first person to call me spoilt gets a lolly.

other than that, probably silva. or berbatov.

A difficult choice today (which is good) and I would have liked to have voted for more than 1 person to be honest.

It's hard not to vote for the man who covered every inch of the pitch and scored 2 goals... but I went for Milner.

Silva without question for me, shame he couldn't convert the chance for his hat-trick but another superb performance from him.

Silva , two goals in these kind of game is enough to be MOTM by mile.Hope Zabba is OK by the way.

Silva. Midfield maestro. So glad he got a goal let alone a couple. He needed this today me thinks. I hope it leads to him being a little bit selfish and taking more pop shots on goal rather than seeking the extra pass.

Genuinely don't think anyone stood out, but Silva was definitely the pick esp for the second goal.

that second goal was class - all the one touch passes leading to Dave's quality contribution in the box. I love those sort of goals. The BBC Radio Manchester commentator called it "Messi-esque" and he wasn't wrong.

I must have gone for a wee. Did Hart touch the ball once?

Could have rested hin for today and just played an extra defender instead. ;-)
