I know I know I read the Sun but twas in bath and nowt else to read.

Anyways good little article and interview with him in that little pully outy footie section. Says he thought he may have been coming to another galacticos, but the team and people around the club are great folks to be with, very down to earth and comfortable with each other. Goes on to say he found it hard to adjust to the change from Benfica and a new country with a different language when he arrived. Still think we havent seen the best of him and will do so given playing time.

Hope not posted anywhere else as Sun probably ripped the interview from elsewhere. Anyway nice read.

Garcia has been a lot better lately , understandable as it is never easy fitting into a top quality side. Did what he had to do today plus with him being good in the air he wins plenty of headers in the middle of the park when its gets scrappy . Also think his fitness has improved a lot . Rodwell is also back and ready , we now have plenty of "legs" in the midfield department to do the nitty gritty stuff.Neither of these players are going to be superstars shall we say imho ? ;)

Obviously nor me neither. Feel more assured that good will come rather than some previous unpolished diamonds. The guy could learn a lot someone like Milner. Hopefully will really become something.

hopefully so mate, but i will say now that he looks like a poor man's milner, and we've got a milner. £16M. or summat.

He's not adopted the pace of the game, he's used to the strolling game that is Portugal. He'll be usefull I hope.

Garcia will be good, getting better with each game. People forget how long it can take to adapt, look at Milner, really really poor in his first season and now a vital part of the team. He came from the same league and it took him a season to settle, so no real surprise that Garcia has taken a few months to get settled.

Two guys behind me were having a go at him all game.

Think he looks dependable. Usually a little disappointed when he's going forward, much better tracking back. In the air he's 10/10 though.

fair do's, some people didn't like milner at first. i did. i'd take issue with "getting better with every game" - thought he was shite today.

mind, so was tevez.

When he's just keeping it simple and giving it to a more creative player I think he's fine, he has a ferocious tackle on him as well from what I saw of him in Portugal, he looks a bit hesitant with that at the moment, sure it'll come with time though.

He looks much more comfortable with his surroundings. He broke things up really well today. I like him so much I think I'm going to get a similar style haircut.

I also like him, I have the feeling he's going to be a Kevin Horlock type cult hero of the club once he's settled in

I'm not getting excited about his performances more a sense of relief. After some very worrying displays he has started to show signs that he can be useful but the jury could be out for a while yet.

My second favourite player behind Kolarov.

It was funny when people were writing him off after 2 minutes.

But then again nothing's changed with us. Micah was being wrote off when he had a bad year. Nobody knew what Yaya did for the first couple of months he was here. Dzeko gets shit every match even though he's won us at least two games this season.

Isn't he a bit similar to Barry? As in good player, breaks play up and lays it short to a more attack minded player.

As pointed out later:

"Isn't he a bit similar to Barry? As in good player, breaks play up and lays it short to a more attack minded player." It took Barry a little time to be appreciated but now he is recognised as a vital player in the team but still vastly underrated outside City.Garcia isn't that yet but he is improving and showing why we bought him.He was not shite v Fulham unless the criteria is that he should have assisted in a goal or scored or gone on mazy runs.

Also re Tevez. He didn't have a great game but he was just about the only one making stuff happen in the 1st half with his hard work and he made a gr8 run to give Edin space for the shot for the first goal. And he did assist for the 2nd goal whilst continuing to work hard and threaten like with the perfect pass for Silva to miss his hat trick.

Garcia seemed to sit more than Barry yesterday, Barry was the mobile firefighter and Garcia was the 'last line of defence' before the actual defence (like a de Jong but good in the air). It seems to work so let's not fucl with it.
