Because normally there are 11 players to try and shoot through. Because teams set up to be negative as fuck against the Champions of England. Because as many on here suggested, and City's management staff have obviously noted (proof - last 2/3 games) if we have a pop from outside the area a few times, some of their bus will come out to try and stop that, thus leaving actual human space in behind for us to work. Oh FFS, I don't come on here often enough to know if you troll like this alot but my answer was relevant to your question. Most of the chances he gets are 50/50 at best, because of the way teams set up. They're rarely clear-cut, 1-on-1 situations, 2 out of 3 of which he scored yesterday. He is the linkiest of link-up players, the slinkiest of passers, retains the ball as well as Yaya who is twice his size, tracks back and tackles better than Yaya who is etc., and has really cool hair. What more do you want?

absolutely superb going forward from the left, my only slight concern is that when he's the only defence in front of clichy, he can get caught out quite a bit, usually gaz is there to cover, but there were a couple of occasions yesterday when clichy had the FB and W running at him. but like when aguero was playing LM in that game a while ago.
