The first match I ever went to I stood on that exact terracing, to the left of the tunnel, next to the Platt Lane. Don't remember that bloke though....

And at the back behind the terrace there, you can just make it out. Doug and his ladder peering in.

It never went away. We spent billions each year importing it from Ukraine. Better to buy it than make it yourself and deal with powerful trade unions.
