Stu Brennan has just tweeted that mario is pulled from tomorrow's squad and has boarded a plane to Italy this afternoon

His exact tweet: "looks like things finally moving with Mario. Pulled from squad travelling to London and we've been told he has flown to Italy this afternoon"

Can't say I'm overly bothered in all honesty, my final reflection taking everything into account would be "Meh."
I hope he sorts himself out for his own sake though.

Really hope we don't get stung on this transfer, we don't need to do it so why let him go unless we get another quality replacement, which I doubt at this late stage. Seems rather silly to let him go now. Mario £20m (rumour) when Andy Carroll cost £35m.
Arsenal are supposedly in talks with David villa so he is available and odemwingie wants out of WBA too, both would be good squad players

Well that's a sad ending to a story that held so much promise. Good luck Mario and hope you stop fucking it up in the future.

Goodbye and good luck, he has the talent but sadly not the brains.
It's been emotional but I won't miss the media side show or the on pitch antics

Sorry it didn't work out. Good luck to him at Milan.

If he is ever going to deliver it would be at Milan. He was never going to do it for us, but good luck to him, hope he succeeds there, think he might just.

I suspect there was a little bit more to the training ground bustup than we're all privy to. Bob was towing the party line with his comments afterwards to try and save some value for moving him on.

And a few minutes later, Mr. Brennan says this ... "Not from official source but he did not board train with the others said reliable witness"

I don't think we looking for a replacement this window anyway ... Will probably shop for Cavani or someone like that in Summer and ship Dzeko out then as well. Now till end of season its only 4 (max) FA Cup fixtures left and in PL we have 14 games left. Doesn't justify having a 4th striker at £150k+ per week wages. Can always use Gudetti towards the end as a 4th striker.

Will Kevin-Prince Boateng be coming the other way?

I hope he goes and sorts himself out.
I know a lot of people like him on here, but I never really took to him, especially with all the grief he caused for the club and the ammo he gave the press.
But like I said, I hope he does well in Milan if he goes. Good luck Mario.
P.S. if he stays, he best keep his head down and play now we all know what he wants.

No doubt Droopy has already tried to sign him.

Anyone used the "Say Balo and wave goodbye" headline yet?
Agree with others, if true, a sad ending to a story I was keen to work out, as, for all his twattyness, he's in a squad that whilst very talented, lacks a bit of character in my opinion

this sums it up for me. i know Mancini said we only have 18 players, but i think we have enough to get through the season. Reevaluate if Dzeko is going to stay over the summer, and if Guidetti can contribute full time in a meaningful way next season (i'm hopeful). i have no issue putting guys like suarez and lopes on the bench if we have some injury problems.

Gutted. Not the finished product and we should not be surrendering yet. Nonsensical.
