QPR

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

QPR

Postby There's only 1 city!! » Fri Feb 01, 2013 9:52 am

is it not doing anyone else's head in at the amount of money that qpr has spent over the last 18 month??
we got hammered for our spending (bought the league etc) but no-one has said out about them spending all that money to stay in the league, when teams around them haven't got a bean.

they spent 20m on remy & samba, both on close to 100 grand a week on top off who they've got their already

hope they go down

just wondering if your thought's are the same as mine????

cheers, rant over!!

I don't hope they go down. Their away support cheered when we scored against them and won the title. They have to do something seriously wrong before I want them to go down. All the best, spend what you have, haters gonna hate and so on.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

How much have they spent since coming back up?

The only reason I would want them to go down is that clown Redknapp.

I want to know what happened with Obdewinge (?). He must've had the nod from QPR but not from his chairman.

They probably realised they already had 6 or 7 strikers on the books. No idea how a club of Qprs size can maintain that kind of a wage bill.Harry is loved by the media so Qpr will avoid the kind of negative attention we had when we spent big.Its strange but everyone seems to foget that Harry has crippled clubs and walked away in the past.It could easily happen again.

I think the difference is QPR spent loads of money and are still shit, we spent loads of money and threaten to break up the cosy boys.

I was looking at their purchases the other day and although they've bought a lot of players in, they weren't very high prices. A few million here, a few million there, it's probably the wage bill that is affected most.

At least it's a guaranteed vote against FFP in the Premier League.

I'm not sure fear of being disqualified from European competition is top of their list of issues
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

They're no where near Europe so it's irrelevant at this point I guess.

A better question is if they will start generatiing some good results in the near future. If they survive this season, they won't be on the high of new management next season. And they have some serious deadwood to get rid of don't they.

That's why it says 'in the Premier League'. You know, that thing which has been discussed to death around here. You do know about that, right?

The only club that cod-face left that wasn't in financial trouble because of him was spuds. And that was because their chairman is a bigger conman that Arry.

Or Joe Lewis would be after arry. He left WHUFC with players on money they did not have too. Harry Firesale.

But that is a very warped way of communicating back and forth through different posts. I still don't understand who's talking to who. Fair play!
