Mourinho would be the biggest test for me. But I'd take the tranny out of those two just on how they are rather than their ability, and on ability also, obviously....

ronaldo is 10x the player suarez is, so him for sure. Would hate to see either but I just don't value saurez that highly to add anything new to City. We already have tricky, skillful attackers who have trouble finishing

I never thought it would be possible under any circumstances, but Suarez has actually outnaused Ronaldo in my estimation.

The new premier league fair play rules mean that Tranny is never coming back. Those kind of transfer fees are not feasible any more. I wonder when Utd will realise they can't compete with Madrid anymore?

You're assuming the current TV type deal stays. Offer an end to relegation for the price of the end of the collective bargaining and most clubs would take it. Their TV money may drop from £30m to £10m but transfer fees drop and it doesn't matter anyway as worst thing is you've finished bottom, try again next year.

If we had to take one of those sleazeballs it would have to be Ronaldo it would just kill the rags.

If (not that we ever will) we were to sign Ronaldo there would be people on here saying they'd not renew their season tickets etc. Then after we storm the league all the fans would love him. Bit like Bellamy (without the storming to the league bit.)
