I think we are seeing the first stages of how FFP will affect our chances and help keep more "established" teams at the top. Two transfer windows where we have not strengthened our squad for, I can only presume, financial reasons.

FFP will affect our chances of the Championship. It would take an almighty cock up to miss out on CL places. Regular CL now will mean a regular supply of cash other teams will never get. What would happen to Arsenal if they miss top 4? They can't go out and rebuild anymore

I really hope your right. Before these last three weeks I hadn't even looked at the teams underneath us. I'm starting to now.

Keep playing like that we might be lucky to get in Europe. The team needs to sit down, reflect and then reevaluate their effort today.

Mancini needs the sack after today. unacceptable. looks like Hughes when towards the end of his city manigerial career. a defeated man he is. shouldve never gotten rid of Mario, showing now>?

Totally disagree re this showing anything re FFP. It shows what can happen when a team full of quality players play as if their heart isn't really in it and with the wrong tactical approach against a team all motivated and fired up by a manager who gets his tactics 100% right.

Need to beat Chelsea and the Spuds to guarantee this and on present form both are going to be very tough particular Spuds away as Bale is on another level to everyone at the moment,

Will we finish 2nd?.................... YES and win the FA cup along side the charity shield. I know we all are a little down about some of the games our lot have gone through the motions in, but lets not forget that if we do finish as I've said that is still a bloody good season. Im sure like me, many on here work with scum fans and are most likely getting stick on facebook, by texts and many other ways. But who gives a shit what they think, and infact the reason they are is because they can't believe their luck, yes their luck as we have gifted them the only throphy they will win this season. The tide is still turning and will keep turning even if that horrid cheating old prick does stay at the helm for 3 more years. They are fucked its just a matter of time, the season of transition when they do finaly change the manager could be so bad for them that it could take years to recover.

Top 3 if our European record under Mancini is anything to go by: The media would have a field day if we were knocked out in the qualifying round by the runners-up of Netherlands, Turkey or Russia, which I see as a very realistic prospect.
