As well as the excellent Preview from BarryConlonsBaldSpot [urlnp=http://www.mancityfans.net/mcfnet/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=45244&view=unread#unread]HERE[/urlnp], there's a few match facts below, from the Beeb, to get you in the mood. If you already weren't.

TEAM NEWS

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has a calf injury and is again unlikely to be risked.

But striker Carlos Tevez is available again after personal issues and defender Matija Nastasic could also return.

Leeds goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown is expected to start ahead of regular stopper Paddy Kenny.

Newcomers Steve Morison and Stephen Warnock are available, while striker El-Hadji Diouf is pushing for a place.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• Only two wins separate these clubs after 103 competitive meetings over 89 years; Manchester City have claimed 44, Leeds 42 with 17 all square.

• Leeds have won their most recent clash, 2-1 in the Premier League in March 2004 at Elland Road.

• Leeds also hold a 3-2 lead after five ties with City in the FA Cup, which culminated in a 5-2 fourth round victory at Maine Road in January 2000.

Manchester City

• Manchester City, the 2011 winners, have won seven of their last eight FA Cup outings; keeping clean sheets in all seven.

• The five times winners and four times runners-up have only lost one of their last 11 FA Cup matches; that being the 3-2 home defeat to Manchester United in last season's third round.

• City have not lost in the FA Cup to a Championship club under Roberto Mancini. Mark Hughes was at the helm when Nottingham Forest defeated them 3-0 in the third round in January 2009, in front of the home supporters.

Leeds United

• If Leeds are to qualify for the quarter-finals for the second time in 15 seasons and first since 2003, they will need to claim back-to-back Premier League scalps, having eliminated Tottenham in the fourth round.

• Top-flight clubs have ended the interest of the 1972 winners and three times losing finalists, in each of the last three seasons.

• The Whites' only victory on the road in two and a half months, was against Birmingham in the FA Cup third round replay, on 15 January.

Strong line-up there. I'd suggest that we should walk it but after the last showing I'll reserve judgement.

It was a disgusting signing , probably the worst one we have ever made and was totally not fair on Sinclair at all.

I dont know what fuckign point Mancini was trying to make but he has been a total cunt about it.

Nice to see Zabaleta wearing the armband
Roberto Mancini was the man who brought us our first trophy in 35 years. He was the man that brought us our first league title in 44 years. He brought us one of the greatest moments of our lives. He masterminded a 6-1 win at Old Trafford, and a Wembley win over United. He challenged Ferguson, he argued with him on the touchline, he brought success, and he punched the air in delight with the rest of us at the madness of it all. He had style, panache and a winning smile. All those memories he gave us will never be forgotten, in a wonderful period in this club’s long history.
And I swear, we’ll never see anything like it again.

Why the sudden interest in Sinclair? We're not scousers desperate to see a winger beat a player once a month. He's about 35 to boot.

That said c'mon lads, can't afford a loss here.
