Pick the manager.

Bobby's comments about being the best manager in the prem made me think the other day. He actually had a point when talking trophies and he does cop a bit of a raw deal (from me included at times)

That said if he's the best in the prem, who's next best? Not as far as results, but if you had to pick our next manager from whose in the prem right now, who would you take?

Michael Laudrup. Winner. Likes football. Team's have discipline. Intelligent and knows the difference between a tictac and a tactic.

He'd be on my short list too. It's him or AVB for me. I like how much he's gotten out of Bale and also think he for a really raw deal at Chelsea.

I like Martinez and Hughton. Martinez has tried to get a very poor side playing good football and Hughton has done the job at every side he's managed so far.

I quite like Laudrup myself, but, I want more than one season in the Prem before I made my mind up.

Easy ... Laudrup.

Second choice AVB, but a distant second.

Knob though he is, Darth Bacon is obviously the best manager in the league.

That said, I obviously wouldn't want his phallic nose and alcopiss stench anywhere near our dugout. At the moment, the only viable successors to Mancini in the league are Laudrup and, in particular, AVB. It'd be nice to see Hughton get the job at West Ham or Everton next. I'm not sure he's ready for a PL/CL tilt.

David Guetta? Strange choice, but I suppose neither Mourinho nor AVB had a glittering playing career.

It was either Guetta or Judge Jules.

He's gone on record saying he'll never manage in England. I don't get the clamour anyway, yes he did fantastically well the last two seasons domestically but has he ever done it in Europe prior to this season? Dortmund put a big effort into CL this year following their dismal performance last season, where like City this year they got just 3 points in group stage, but they've done that at the expense of their league title where they trail Bayern by 17 points. I'm not sure Klopp would fare any better than Mancini.

As for Prem manager, not a single one of them appeals.

To be frank, Dortmund doesn't have the same squad depth we have.

I would say AVB, since he is squeezing the best out of 2 star players + an average squad. Another is Frank Rijkaard. Turned Barca into a powerhouse. IMO Guardiola had it easy, since he already had a ready-made squad and philosophy, thanks to Rijkaard.

I think Moyes has probably got the greatest long term PL success with the least resources. He's very much in the Ferguson mould. However as yet he has no European experience.

Although I acknowledge his ability I cant warm to Moyes as a City manager. He has been too disrespectful in the past.

Both Laudrup and Martinez, have the right personality to front our club, intelligent passionate and respectful, but both have insufficient managerial experience

Its Martinez for me. Laudrup is still enjoying the benefits of what Roberto built at swans tbh. And Rodgers got a really high profile job because of it. That says a lot to me. Plus Martinez was smart enough to know scouse twats were an ill fit for him.

Id have to go with martinez.had a decent time at swansea and is currently working wonders with a real sack at wigan.keeping them in prem would be a challenge for the best managers around imo.

So they threw away the title at the expense of CL success? We threw away the title and finished bottom in the same group!
