Found myself wondering about the lack of a City game for nigh on a fortnight and was looking at City players involved in the WC-QF's.
Done a list below of who is or not doing what & where, which lead me to think about those not involved. What do they do, get a holiday in the sun, report for training as usual?

• Richard Wright (ENG) Not Called Up
• Defenders
• Maicon (BRA) Injured
• Matija Nastasic (SRB) Away to Croatia & Home to Scotland
• Aleksandar Kolarov (SRB) Away to Croatia & Home to Scotland(

• Pablo Zabaleta (ARG) Home to Venezuala & Away to Bolivia
• Midfielders

So do I Wooders. Certainly the English players don't give a fuck about playing for their country.
That's what got me wondering about players not involved, do they bugger off on hols or put a shift at training?
It's going to be a long weekend without prem games.

Has Tevez retired internationally? Or is he still public enemy number One over there? His form would suggest he should have been involved.

Isn't Nasri actually banned at the moment?
Usually love the England games but the politics within are really testing my patience. The Spain v France game looks like a decent game, will definately watch that.
Those who don't play get a few days break but will still be training on certain days, I think.

Great chance for Javi Garcia to stamp his authority on the international stage.I can see him running that Spanish midfield for years to come.

Vinny will be looked at by the medical staff Thursday/Friday, If he plays and has another spell , Mancini will on the war path, why has he joined up, no game time for us in 7/8 weeks, this is not right for us.

Could be a way to get him match fit as long as they don't over do it

As Kompany hasnt played a stitch for us in 2 months theres no way on the world he should be trotting out for Belgium in two knockover games.

England are embarrassing to watch. The players and the media still think it is a top side, when it clearly isn't. No doubt when they draw we will here the usual excuses, such as pro plus and night nurse.

looks like we get our wish (from the OS)
"Samir Nasri wasn’t included in France’s
squad to face Georgia and Spain but
Gael Clichy will hope to add to the 16
caps won so far for Les Blues. Vincent
Kompany’s calf injury keeps him out of
Belgium’s squad, too"Full link....

A problem with international games is people allow club rivalries to surface far too much. I remember many England fans on here refuse to support Rag players when they're playing for England. When a player puts on the England shirt, they're not representing the Rags, us, Chelsea etc, they're representing the country and it would be good for people to get behind them whichever club they play for.

Why would it be good for people? What have people to gain from supporting England? If they choose to do so, good for them. If they don't, good for them, too. I don't think anyone has the right to tell people who they should support.

I meant, if you class yourself as an England supporter.

There is no way on earth I will every support Cleverley's inclusion in the England team and it has very little to do with the fact he is a RAG.

Fair enough if you genuinely don't think he's a good enough player but it's when people are like 'i'm not gonna support him cos he's a Rag'.
Bit like Rooney really, yeah he's overhyped and overrated but do England really have a better striker?

I could name quite a few but don't want to be classed as anti-english coz the few i could name are rags with the exception of Kyle fuckin Walker how can he be keeping others out of Englands team.
