Can't see another thread.....
Ticket sales started yesterday - how are people finding it - does the online system work? is it pretty painless?
Personally I've got to hang on til Thursday so just wondering whether its worth starting work late or if its a quick job via the website

We've got ours apparently was a quick phone call and sorted. So that's tickets and hotel booked and I haven't had to do anything yet

If you can do it online Id suggest that makes it a lot easier.
Had to go via the phone this morning as I have sons coming with me - both over 5k points themselves and in all the Cup schemes for any moaners out there - so if you are using the phone, get used to Greensleeves in your ear for a good half hour.

Took Maccattack an hour this morning to sort more out. Twenty together in the middle tier, and we've got three behind the goal. We won't have to sit with the cardboard cut outs.

Just got an e-mail from the club stating there are tickets available for the Newcastle game. Could be the first game for which we haven't sold all our tickets in a long while.

Not at all, its usually the club who release tickets to viagogo then send out an email.
Fucking cunts, hate the club for doing it - one of the worst things they have done, and for the picture couple of grand extra it may bring in (if indeed it brings any money in), I just don't see the value of doing this to rip the fans off

Creates a market on viagogo with lots of buyers. They may have also suggested a minimum number of tickets that viagogo would get anf be well below it. It also encourages more fans to sign up to sell if you know there's buyers which of course means an extra £50 a season. Unfortunately I suspect this has a lot to do with FFP and is only going to get worse

But the last few times the club have publicised this, just happens to be against the bigger clubs.
It actually encourages away fans to buy tickets in the home end.
When asked about it, they confirmed that as part of the deal with viagogo, they give them an allocation for each game. Surely that is actually hindering real fans selling tickets for genuine reasons?
Its a massive own goal - you should have seen the negative comments last time they posted about tickets being available for a sold out game on facebook, hundreds and hundreds of really pissed off blues......they havent marketed it that way again since as the publicity was too negative, and they tried deleting all the negative comments but they came too fast.

I vaguely remember reading it was part of the agreement for using Viagogo's services.

Plenty of alternatives out there, they deserve every bit of shit they get for getting into bed with this lot.

To be fair mate 100 tickets compared to how many season tickets holders there are, what is it 30,000+, is fuck all really.
I get what you're saying though.

50 minutes on the phone this morning and 3 tickets behind the goals, similar to where I was last time.
Had to ring as I was getting a kid's ticket as well, but if you're just getting them for people with enough points the online system seems pretty quick and easy to use.
Also, the lines are open 24/7. So for those waiting until Saturday, you could ring about 8:30 as by the time you're answered it'll be 9am and you'll be eligible.
Good luck
