Aon Carrington - Etihad Campus

So apparently GBP 180m over eight years to sponsor a completely non-visible training complex (and training kit) is fine and not "non-market rate"/artificially inflated

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... -base.html

So, I'd be increasingly confident that there is fuck all grounds upon which UEFA could challenge our Etihad Campus deal

I was thinking the same.

In fact i'd get in touch with other companies and see if we can sponsors city square 200 million over the next five years should do it.

That's exactly it.
Clubs will seek sponsorship for the silliest of things just to raise the funds.
UEFA can not rule on them all.
Plus, surely the sponsorship company will know if the deal is a good one or not.

Heard about this on BBC Manchester this morning - apparently it's a first for football to have a training ground sponsored. Burgervan needs to pull his finger out and find us some sponsors - why didn't we think of this?

Each bar on the concourse sponsored 25 million a season?

How about the floor in the concourse? Each toilet?

there's room for at least 2 more sponsors on the shirt front.

Then there's the back, and don't get me started on the wasted opportunity of the shorts

The new training complex will be sponsored, so we go there first.... I don't understand why we don't sell name rights for each stand. South used to be Key 103 stand them Tommy Cook took over but now just a compass name...???

I think we should sell squad number sponsorship - £25m per number per season should be enough.

Anyone remember when you used to be able to sponsor bits of players kits? Seem to recall Mark and Lard off Radio 1 did Danny Tiatto's undercrackers. Suspect the going rate could be a but higher these days

I think you should be able to get a good rate for a training kit. Due to copyright (and fees) over matchday clips, think how often you see pictures of players in training in the build-up to big matches on the news. To be honest, I've probably seen more cumulative footage of England players training over the past decade than actually playing...

Is there a rule to say only one sponsor allowed on a shirt?
