Suppose so, but I don't even think giving them away would have got more Wigan fans in, and giving unsold tickets to 'neutrals' risks opposition fans getting hold of them (imagine if this had been the case yesterday), or them being reserved for corporate fans. The increased segregation and policing costs resulting from this will, in turn, lead to further price rises, or more justification for the already over-inflated current ticket costs.

All-in-all, I'd prefer the empty seats in the current unfair system to a full house in an even worse and/or more expensive system.

Incidentally, were the same number of corporate tickets reserved for this game as for ours?

Just shit seeing empty seats all over the place.
