Dzecko

Watching a replay of last seasons game against Spurs on AD Sports 5 (on right now).

Feck me, Edin was absolutely immense and Nasri looked like an absolute worldy!

It's there, if only we could find a way to harness their potential.

Seriously these guys look like 30-40m players!!!

I expect Nasri to be here next season and so to fulfill his potential. I can see Gordon Gecko doing one.

I think you'll find the first letter is 'Dž', not the two letters 'Dz'...

I reckon one of him & Tevez is out the door in the summer, but not both. I don't pretend to be able to predict the machinations up above, but I reckon if it's solely for football reasons (from both the player and club), then Džeko will go, and we'll make a massive loss, because clubs realise that we need to sell one forward, cannot risk selling two, and Tevez is unlikely to get us more than £8m considering his contract and previous record. I'm reckoning that we'll get £14m/€18m for him.

I think it's Tevez.

Edin despite what a lot on here think , is a viable alternative for City's tiki taki.

The guy is class.

I find it strange with Dzeko i have to be honest i never really warmed to him as a City player in the same way i have with many others. It's not that i dislike him or anything like that more a situation where he is my least favourite of our options. If i was asked who should start upfront on the weekend i would never say Dzeko ever even when Mario was here i would have preferred him over Dzeko.I don't know why this is as he has done well for the club when given the chance.I heard yesterday that he has the 2nd best goals to minutes ratio in the premier league this season.

I watched parts of the Arsenal-Everton game yesterday, and it struck me when watching Giroud, that Dzeko is miles and miles better. He would score loads of goals if he played for a team like Arsenal.

I've watched that game a few times and imho we were far better against spuds than when we beat the scum 1-6 and yet we got diddly respect or praise for destroying them because Twitchy didn't have his full team out

He's a good squad player, he just isn't good enough to lead the line for a side that wants to challenge in the League and Europe. If he's happy to be 3rd/4th choice then keep him but I can't see him being happy with that.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I think if we get a couple of speedy wide players like Isco, Reus, Sanchez or Gotez then Edin would be an ideal focal point of attack.

I had a look at that list, and couldn't see Michu on there. Have I overlooked him, has he played less than 1,000 minutes, or is that just a random selection of players?

Aguero - 19 starts. 10 goals. 2 assists,

Tevez - 23 starts. 11 goals. 7 assists.

Dzeko - 13 starts. 12 goals. 2 assists.

He is our top scorer and I can't even remember the last game he started.

With tevez's off field cuntness and his dwindling contract with him making it widely known he doesn't want to be here so he will not be extending it. Although he is a great player I would rather get rid of tevez and replace him with falcao while keeping hold of dzeko unless we can get Cavani aswell.

Dzeko has always made more of an impact coming off the bench. If we had a plan B, with wingers he would be immense!

Well he had 5 start in december going to january from Norwich game and i think he score in 5 games score in 4 and in last did not and bench, Bob just do not trust him and i notes hes getting better in hold up play .But still think he is not player who should sit on bench, so he should go and i talk like Bosnian now because i love him to play more. But from City perspective hes great to have like impact player score many heavy goals.
