yep, another thread....

my ideal summer ins and out...

kolarov out luke shaw in
nasri / erik lamela
dzeko / cavani
garcia / wanyama
sinclair / robben

pace, power, goals and a bit of youth and you could probably do business for a net £40m - most of which would be on edinson

I keep forgetting Robben only looks old: I was thinking he was about 36!

Not a bad list overall, but wages may be an issue.

wages shouldn't be an issue if, as has been widely suggested, we link remuneration to on field success

don't forget that there will be a few more hefty earners leaving us this summer...

roque and bridge alone will free up north of 150k/week if we can get shot of them in the close season

If we wait until summer that will mean the manager will be at Monaco.

Goetz - Linked Bayern
Falcao - Linked Chelsea
Robert Lewandowski, Not confirmed to Bayern, might mean to rags.
Bale - Stay at Spurs not going to come to us unless we offer massive money and even then will be 50/50
Cavani - Madrid and PSG now front runners according to the papers.
Nymar- Barca

A very small pool of top players all linked to us, which was the old Arsenal season ticket sales trick, City have the dough, do we have the manager the Barca boys want to back big. He has been proved right we needed players and now we will find out if he is gonna get them, any hesitation and he will be gone, not sacked , resign.

Lewandowski please. I just think he would fit our team and style of play best.

In
Falcao
Robben*

Out
Dzeko
Bridge
Sinclair
Rsc

Id keep everyone else...kolarov..kolo and lescott, nasri one more chance...make guidetti the 4th striker...no point him staying now if he isnt going to feature. the*with robben allows for the fact that he wont play every game as he has injury issues but heis a match winner...althoughnot sure we should deal with bayern at all...german rags
Overall the squad just needs minor adjustment...id be amazed if more than two or three come in...its quality the team need now...and a slight change in mentality

I have always thought Cavani was the one Bob really wanted.

Give García another year but sign Fellaini too.

Cavani or Falcao coming in - possibly for Dzeko - plus someone along the same lines as Lamela to add pace and penetration.

Sinclair to be allowed to leave and Kolo to be given a one-year contract.

Should all of that happen, I reckon we'll be flying come August.

I doubt we'll make three signings as big as those, mind.

Sign Mido and play Musampa in the middle along side Reyna and we'll be fine

Anyone fancies Alex Song? I know he has discipline issues but he has been proven in the PL.

I like him. Why not?

Good thinking, Batman. He'd probably only set us back about £9-11M and would definitely bolster the squad.

I don't know all that much about him but his close control against Real was really impressive last night, the way he dodged their defence and made room to shoot...

The guy play with wings and from what i watch last night hes a killer machine when u give him proper ball and a lot of balls go on him and Real players give him amazingly a lot of space witch he will never have here in England. If we going to keep playing like we play then Cavani or any other player who is fast small and have great pace.

Fellaini as an alternative to Song

Dzeko
Sinclair
