PFA Team of the Year 2013
De Gea
Zabaleta, Ferdinand, Vertonghen, Baines
Mata, Carrick
Hazard, Suarez, Bale
Van Persie
Zaba makes it ... along with a lot of red shit ... and Michu ignored here as well.
Anyone surprised, really?

? Red 'shit' ?
4 united , 1Liverpool, 1 Arse....
4 blue
1 white ( non racist of course)
I suppose just over 50 % could be considered 'A lot of Red shit'

Ferdinand? Leaving aside some of the other crap on that list. Ferdinand? I mean, Ferdinand? This renders the whole exercise of picking a team of the season utterly meaningless.

Fantastic that Pablo is in there, his improvement from the player that turned up on his first day to what we have witnessed this season has been immense - if there's any justice he'll walk off with club player of the year - a honorary Manc

I know it's not the best advertisement for the premier league to have the like of De Gea and Carrick in the team of the year.

Reasonable team apart from Hazard. Ferdinand (& Verthongen as well for that matter) is a bit of a stretch, but I couldn't name a centre back off the top of my head who was considerably better, certainly not Kompany. If there's no one head & shoulders above the rest, they'll always give it to a rag, no surprise really.

De Gea deserves it IMO. Talent-wise it should likely have been Joe but he has been (by the standards he should have for himself if nothing else) piss poor this season

I think sometimes you have to take the blue tinted specs off, Carrick has had a great season along with several others rags. The spine of their team has been a a whole lot better than ours hence them wining the league. A lot of blues go mad when people out side of City slag Gaz Baz off as they don't see what he does week in and week out, are we not doing the same with Carrick?? Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say they have been a lot better than us or we all start to sound a bit bitter.

Agreed in fact we should celebrate Zabaleta being in there above who else is in there, it's not as if we can claim any of our other players are worthy of inclusion this season
