Your MCFC bete noire

OK....we all have our favourite players....but I know that there are some (of us) on here who also have some fairly random dislikes of City players who the majority rate pretty highly.

They could be current players or players past but I'm not talking about the likes of Lee Bradbury or Bernardo Corradi...I'm talking about things like:

Piccs with Petrov
Carl with Lescott

...and myself with Joe Hart.

What i want to know is who it is for you and why? For me, with Hart, I think he's a v good keeper in lots of ways but three things drive me mad:

Stupid avoidable mistakes
Crap distribution
Punching unnecessarily

So...all of you...who don't you/didn't you like and what were your reasons??

Dickov.

He always seemed to moan to the ref after being tackled. Even when he was favourite to win the ball straight back
Got a bit too excited when he came back & scored against us
I wish it was Goater who scored that goal

Crap reasons but I just never took to him.

Nasri, he only puts in a shift when Silva isn't there.

I guess in the current squad mine is Nastasic. Let me just be clear I don't hate the man himself! I'm just talking in terms of a player a lot of people rate, who I don't as much. I think he's a decent player, who has been good this season but not exceptional (as others think), and I can't see him turning into a world class player.

I hope he does, but just don't see what attributes he has to get him there at present.

In my opinion, he's not good in one-on-one situations and neither is he good in the air. The amount of times the opposition launch an attack up to a forward who Nastasic is marking, the forward has time to bring it down and lay it off to someone else. Nastasic not cutting the ball out then is unnoticed as the attack moves on and it becomes someone else's responsibility. His strong point is his calmness on the ball, which is excellent for someone of his age, but it's the key defensive attributes that concern me.

He's slotted in without too many problems this season, but then he is surrounded by Clichy, Zab, Kompany and Barry. The few times both Kolo and Lescott have played this season, they've had standout games. Nastasic hasn't.

That probably seems quite harsh on someone who is so young, and I would love him to prove me wrong. I'm just not sure he will.

Nasri for me even when he plays well.

Just comes across as an arrogant cunt and for all his attitude he's a massive fanny on the pitch.

Get the feeling if I met him I'd want to punch his face in. It's odd tho as its not due to anything he does on the pitch, he just seems really unlikeable.

It seems almost dirty to say it but Rosler. I love the guy and would love to see him manage us one day, a manager we'd all be behind. But he replaced Quinn who is one of my all time favourite players. Not just on the pitch but in the fans affections.
As a player I didn't think he was in Niall's class. Not quick, not skillful, not clinical, not great in the air. What he did have was lots of energy and enthusiasm, but that isn't enough to replace a player like Niall Quinn. I used to despair when I saw him preferred up front, and hearing fans saying he was a better option used to make me quite vexed.
Is that the kind of thing you had in mind Ant?

Petrov made Nasri look brave.

For me it has to be Javi Garcia i call him short back and sides coz that's the direction every fuckin pass he makes goes. Also slower than a snail.

Javi Garcia.

He has made even less of an impact than Rodwell/Sinclair imo, he is slo-mo, waits for the ball to be passed to him then just offloads it to any blue shirt in his radar; he looks like he's carting too much weight around.
He is not sure what he does, neither am I, the British, the Bosnians nor Mancini. Methinks Mancini thought he was getting Martinez in the 11th hour rush.

Clichy, because he's stopping Kolarov from getting in the team.

I'm going to hell for this, especially this week but...

MVF

I really didn't rate him when he was here and didn't want us to sign him after the loan. Can't remember why I didn't like him anymore and it's now my guilty secret.

Mario Balotelli

I liked him and thought he was a decent player, but people mentioning him in the same breath as Tranny and Messi winds me up. Rarely showed anything worthy of the tag in a blue shirt yet all I hear is "he makes good runs"

Although I will never forget him for that pass

Me as well.

Never got the hype around the guy.

Sure he is a nice guy and, a legend for some nowhere near it for me

Fair comment on the much loved Rosler, compared to Quinn.
I'd say similar things about the also beloved Shaun Goater, compared to Rosler.
