Yep, was Zab's sent off? Did it affect the game?

Or was it deserved?

Sending off was deserved but did not affect outcome imo. On that showing we would have lost with 12.

Yet again yaya gets 90 mins when he was absolutely awful probably our worst player, talk about player power in the camp and wtf was with that Tevez substitution?

barry was by far the worst. followed by silva then clichy. taking tevez off by mancini and not barry was unforgivable time to ask big question about not only mancini but platt and kidd!!!!!

Both of Zabs fouls were avoidable. There was cover for both attacks.

Gillie, I thought Pans was whingeing to the ref that he got 2 yellows for two fouls.

YaYa, couldn't even be described as pedestrian today from the outset.

Why Zabba was sitting back Vinny god only knows when Nastasic was sitting further up field? All in all the shape was wrong from where we were sat. Dare I say it we should have stuck to the formation used in the semi, Zabba and Milner over lapping was a joy to watch against Chelsea.

I hate to make defensive subs, but after Nastasic got booked, we should have put Lescott on. As soon as they broke it was an instant thought in my mind that either Zabba or Nastasic would be sent off.

Zabba challenge was rash and a yellow but we were wrong shape all over the park by this stage with two of the back four on yellows already against a team who were never going to give up.

I actually thought Zabba had a poor match by his standards, seemed to revert to his old habits I thought lost & dived in a few times & caught out of position - mind it was mild in comparison to Clichy - who said the other day he was great going forward, but nowhere near as good defending as McManaman proved today

Devastated for him, despite the correct assertion earlier in the thread that his challenges were avoidable. When people look back on this season they won't see the lack of effort by certain stars in certain games but the Zab red card in a cup final will be glaring and, despite diving in, he doesn't deserve that next to his name.
