Falcao, Cavani, Lewandowski

Postby Niall Quinns Discopants » Thu May 23, 2013 1:38 pm

I think we are going to sign one of these hot shots. It's going to be only one though. I think you could make a case for any one of them.

Which one would you have?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Cavani.

I think Maureen will get Falcao,

Still, gutted that Jo isn't on that shortlist.

Cavani for me - if Edin goes. Falcao if he stays.
Lewandowski is not an improvement on Dzeko in my opinion.

I think Lewandowski's production is litte bit production of sublime midfield behind him. I'm worried about Cavani's conversion to English game and surroundings where everything is not created spesifically for him. Falcao is older than the two and perhaps bit too similar to Aguero.

If there's worry that Aguero leaves then I would go with Falcao. If we are staying with posession football with Pellegrini I would go with Cavani. If we'd have the kind of midfield I dream of I would go with Lewandowski.

So Lewandowski it is.

The question feels a bit like asking which of Kate Upton's tits you'd like to fondle.

Think i'd rather put them in order:
Falcao
Cavani
Lewandowski (a very distant third, i'm not a fan and dont think he would add to any change in our type of play)

HAHA

I'm pretty sure we will sign one of them though. And the way I see it, you really could make a case for any one of them.

I think Lewandoski is the type of player that is a bit overated. I saw him at the Euros last summer and was shite.

And beside that, none of the players that left Borussia and Klopp, turned out to be good. Look at Barrios, Sahin or Kagawa. He is a huge gamble. Cavani and Falcao are class and Cavani was a monster up front in Seria A, where everybody parks their bus and elbows are like goals.

It seems like Cavani is close to being a done deal.

It pains me to think that Chelsea could get Falcao though, although Torres back to Atletico could be a clincher in that deal. He will rip the premier league a new arsehole - probably the deadliest striker since fowler/shearer in their heydays.

If it came down to Chelsea truly being in pole position, especially if hose is going there, I think i'd be tempted to drop my principles and buy the player just to stop the other side - as I think they would become a massive threat to us with him and Lukaku next season.

Lewandowski - is no better than what we have though.

Cavani as he is good in the air,a poacher, but also a good finisher,is a good peno taker,is South American and a bit mental.

All things our current target man isnt.

This. Plus I think him and Aguero could form a devastating, title winning partnership

Just falcao.

I wouldn't be very impressed with either of the other 2 if someone else in the prem signed falcao..

Voted Cavani, largely because of this...............

"Neymar and Falcao? [These reports are] false, they have never been on our agenda," Soriano is quoted as saying on Tuttomercatoweb.com.
