All the comments he makes about what he wants the new manager to be are all the areas for which Mancini has been criticised. It seems like he wants someone totally different in all aspects. Youth development, man management, attacking football... It makes me wonder how much research was done prior to hiring Bob.

Indeed.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I'm sure there was plenty. For that stage of our development someone like Mancini with that authoritarian approach was needed to pull the team up by the bootstraps and change the club mentality to a winning mentality, that's exactly what he did and like Khaldoon says we should be deeply appreciative of that.

The next stage or cycle if you like will see a different approach, it's as simple as that.

This guy does nothing by accident.

You could see the excitement in his face when he was talking about some of the deals that are almost done.

Our future is brighter than possibly any other team on the planet. I'm loving it.

Amazing interview. The guy oozes class and gives me confidence that things at the top are in great shape.

I'm getting a bit impatient waiting for the new mgr but trust the chairman.

His face shows we WILL defo make some class signings.

He needed a glass of water though. Claggier than a dusty cream cracker in a hung over mouth.

Jamie Oliver is doing the food next season. So if you like your grub soaked in olive oil it's going to be a great season all round.

Does he refer to Tixi as 'cheeky' or am I mis-hearing it?

Well said, I think every single City fan watching that interview will be excited about the season to come and beyond. What a guy.

A very positive interview I really enjoyed it , especially the bit about we will have the best facilities in Europe. Also Spiv is on it right at the end when it shows the fans.

Didn't he do the steaks the other week for the test match? The cost was so expensive, Michael Vaughan was joking over how many had been sold each day & yes they were in single figures

Jamie Oliver's not really my bailiwick, mate. But my guess is, given the test-match was played in Yorkshire, the low take-up rate was due to the fact the steaks were cooked in olive oil rather than dripping.

Good interview, the state of union address every year always reassures everyone at the club and the fans too. What a wonderful chairman we have.

All he missed was a polite apology for that dogshit no show at Wembley against Wigan, but we cant have everything.

From Khaldoun's stating that we will try to compete and win every competition, that Red Nose W****r Mark Ogden in the Telegraph ran the headline "New City Manager Expected to Win Every Competition" - if your didn't believe that certain members of the press are United lovers, shit stirrers and have their own agenda, then I don't know what other proof you need.

Racist. Next you'll be having a go at bosnians.

I cannot say the words Jamie Oliver without shouting out 'cunt' afterwards, its like tourettes.

Havent seen the interview yet but the guy has come across very well in the past and always reassured me. I look forwarx to watching it tomorrow.
