What's the Oz coverage like in terms of the number of games covered? Looks like I'll be there for a substantial part of the new season and considering paying the extra to get Sports added to the tv package but only if most of our games will be on!

Around 50-60 bucks a month gets you the sports package which gives you fox sports and ESPN. Fox cover every game of the Prem and ESPN cover the FA Cup and Chumps League. For an extra $16 per month you get Setanta which gets you the League Cup. SBS cover the Chumps league also and are Free to air so no cost there. SBS and Fox have really good analysts covering the games which is great.

Thanks for the response Dazby (and PBL). My option will be to add sports to existing contract for Foxtel on T-box with telstra which comes with Fox 1,2 and 3 and both espn channels, don't think setanta is an option but can live with streaming league cup games, or missing altogether given stupid o'clock ko times. Extra is only $25 a month but I'll only be there half the time so doing the maths on whether worth it.

OK, so how do you get this in the UK?

Can't believe I could watch all that in America, but here I'll have to put up with Alan Shearer, 25 minutes on how good the rags are and 10 minutes to squeeze in all the other games.

So you are being bullied, yet you say your purpose in life is to provoke.

Ahhh Adelaide. The one regional centre in Oz that prides itself on not being based as a penal colony, and then proceeds to be the most boring city in the country.

There are no ladyboys in Oz. Just real men. Just a heads up in case the internets told u otherwise. Plan accordingly!!

Is that kind of sex banned in Thailand?

I've had the channel since it launched. One of the pluses for having DIrecTV. The other is you get every Champions League and Europa League game. I know the cable company in my area doesn't have it yet.

That's why DirecTV I prefer DirecTV. You get the Bundesliga, Argentine Primera Division, Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A and Sao Paulo Championship. You also get the league in Uruguaya but I don think I have ever watched a game.

That's Time Warner's fault. The additional Premier League channels are free for the cable companies to carry. There is no carriage fee for them. But you might want to check to see if you can stream the games. They are also streaming all games in HD. On NBCSports.com and NBC Live Extra App.

if you have time warner you can't stream any of the games through live extra. they are one of the few cable providers, i think the only major one, to not have a deal with nbc to stream, which could also be linked to why the extra channels showing other matches aren't there either.

sucks for a lot of people here in new york city who have time warner, rather than the other mega cable company here, cablevision/optimum, as most people in the actual city don't use satellite tv.
