New Zealand SKY loses Premier League rights

SKY TV have LOST rights to the Engllish Premier League. Games will NOT be show on SKY , effective from next season. A new syndicate has been formed , based in the Arabian Gulf, which have outbid Sky for next seasons rights .

Coverage plans to be announced soon.

All this on just NZ TV3 news . . .

Er ... but SKY have won the right and have paid a record amount of cash to show the games already for next season ..... sounds utter bollox to me if you are reffering to the British broadcasting

Oh New Zealand, love the place. If your into fly fishing, surfing and skiing and watching the premiere league at ungodly hours of the morning it's the place for you.

It wouldn't suprise me if the likes of Abu Dhabi & the Qataris etc, buy up the football rights around the world.

It's the logical next step & would put the powers that be in FIFA & UEFA, plus the likes of Rumenigge & Gill, in a very difficult situation.
