Snub and reject count

Postby daveh1962 » Wed Jun 19, 2013 6:18 am

I know that a snub count is ongoing and is probably up to 326,889 as of this minute but I wonder if anyone is keeping a reject count

Whenever there is an article written about an ex player he is known as Man City reject....why? Players get bought and sold on a regular basis it doesn't mean he was rejected its just what happens. This happens to no other club but ours. Most other teams players are known as "ex" or "former" reject just has negative connotations which sits well with the media

I know I am being sensitive but it is just systematic of how City is portrayed and that disappoints me

Surely if someone's a 'Man City reject' it means they weren't good enough for us?

So Balotelli is a "reject". I just feel that as with most things media related it has negative undertones. As per today "Cavani snubs City" not Chelsea not United just City. Balotelli was not rejected by City he was sold it was a business deal how many rejected United players do you read about.....the answer is none
