I know it's transfer related but as a one off yes or no? And some reasoning for it?

Yes for me! Player of the season and would have won it if he had not done the bite! With the right manager and some love can be even better

With a fresh start in a new club under a new manager he would surely be hungry too?

Would piss Liverpool off. Would piss the rags off. Give Everton another reason to hate us (not sure what the first reason was ) and he is class. Fucking win, win, win and win again situation.

We simply don't need the agro, or the media attention. Even if he kept his head down and just played the media would never leave the club or him alone.

I was with you on this one Ollie but, having thought about it, he's a south american goal machine and we now have a south american manager who's specialism is getting the best out of players - if MP can't tame the beast who else could eh?
I'm not begging that we buy him but if we do then I'll take it gladly, ignore the shit thrown at us by the media (they throw it anyway don't they?) and I'll join Ashton in looking forwards to him bagging 25+ goals in 32 league games as we take the title again.

If tevez is going it makes sense - hes the only striker out there of that quality that wont cost a mint
Lots of baggage that goes without saying

Does not fit in with the holistic approach so no chance. Nor did Carlos probably....

18 months ago during the Tevez saga he was the perfect replacement when there were talk of flogging Carlos, now I still feel that he could do the job but do we need the aggro ( again) on the other hand he knew exactly how to puss off the rags

We've had this discussion numerous times. It generally results in half the board taking the moral high ground and claiming they would stop following City, football and sport in general, go on a hunger strike and break down if we were to sign him.

No. It'd only be a matter of time before he opened his bowels in the middle of a game and then posters jumping on here saying 'Well, that's what they do in Uruguay'. Cracking player but an utter C***.

Could happen especially with new South American manager and Sergio and zab. If this came off I would do two things I wouldn't normally do!
1, but a city shirt(usually wrong for adults to wear them)
2, get Suarez on back of it(double wrong)
I work with scousers and have mates who have season tickets at swamp
