No serious players are taking City seriously anymore and we are receeding rapidly in both quality and reputation.

We have a quality core squad, built over time, that we need to supplement each year, not totally replace.

Comon pal, we have the cash, we just don't drop our knickers and let clubs and players fuck us like we used to. Pre FFP we could get away with it, not now. It is the same for everyone.

If we NEEDED a "worldy" player we could get him but frankly we don't NEED to break the bank atm. The core squad is more than strong enough to compete.

Lets hold the cash until we really NEED to replace a core team member eh.
