Fantastic quote!
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

It's still better than when Rooney was out for a hairline reduction. Or did he do the transplant in the summer break?

El Confidencial reports that City are set to offer £165m for Messi. Interesting thing is the Spanish publiciation is known to be reliable.

As much as I'd love it, FFP alone would dictate that we'd need a new country to sponsor our urinals or something!

It would be crazy money to pay but how many fans does a player like Messi bring with him? It would be a major outlay but he would also generate huge money for the club.

The sort of player who would recoup most of the transfer fee within a few years. Shirt sales, sponsership, merchandise, tv deals will all add to the coffers. Well worth the outlay imo. Wouldn't be happy if it involved Aguero going the other way though.
