I think we're going to fuck everyone before us
No marquis signings, tevez, balotelli fucked off
Some hungry mofos looking for love
A coach who makes me feel inadequate....

Can't disagree with any of that.
Edit: well apart from the tune, but I've got the sound off (but I know it's there).

Personally I'm gonna keep high standards instead of going for everyone tho.

I can't remember being so excited at the start, apart from the season after we won the League Cup last time.
Alright, we eventually finished second, but I fucking LOVED it. Tueart, Barnes etc. And I was a Rodney Marsh/ Colin Bell fanatic & we'd lost both.
I wasn't excited about the potential trophies then, I was excited about the football I was about to see, which was about to have an 'edge of seat' quality to it, & that's kind of how I feel now except I think we are way ahead & could indeed fuck everyone up.

Me too, think there will be some tough spells whilst the new boss figures out some f the more physical challenges, but I think we are going to be back to a 'score one more than you' approach, hopefully with a reasonably slid defensive unit.
I'm looking forward to this season like maybe no other before, if he gets it right, this season could be truly spectacular and see us back to those mental first 10 games of the title winning season.

Yes, I grew up on Marsh and Tueart and Barnes and thought our football would always be that good. :-(

Also very excited. Transfer business has been solid, under the radar kind of business, but ALL of the new players look like they could have a big impact, hunger is important for success

feeling very positive about this season, granted I was a bit miffed when we axed Mancini and was wondering how things would work out but so far so good. I bumped into my mates dad the other day and he has good links with the club and when I questioned him about Mancini's end he actually said he couldn't say anything at the time but Mancini was acting like a right cock towards the end of his tenure. I couldn't believe it when he told me he never once went to see the academy lads play, didn't even go in the dressing room at half time during the FA cup final and if he had done there were 5 players ready to hand in transfer request.
Onwards and upwards

Yes I was (very) drunk, but last night at city live gave me so much confidence that we're going to piss the league this year.
We've made some brilliant signings and we've got the perfect team throughout the club to make it happen. Chelsea will be our biggest threat imo but I can't see past a City title.
Never this confident and never say stuff like this because I know better but fuck it... Champions 2014!

Reeeeeeeeeally though? I find that impossible to believe. 5 players decide to leave when it's our last chance to salvage a trophy and it was 0-0......

I didn't mean it to come across as them threatening to quit at half time, I meant subsequently and Mancini must have had an inkling there was a revolt afoot.

I think it's safe to say that we'll finish above Sunderland, though!

surely it's "marquee" in this country?
also, i prefer to maintain my default position, we will get relegated. anything else is a bonus.

indeed, although as city fans we are truly masochistic so maybe Monsieur de Sade is making a comeback?
