I notice we are now narrowly ahead off Chelsea to win the PL with the bookies. Moyes on the same odds as Pelle and Maureen to be sacked 66/1. Will be interesting to. See how they see it in a week will be interesting

The odds on the next scum manager are below. As you can see Bob doesn't even make the list although Pelle does as well as some odd calls.

Always interested in seeing what the bookies do after the first round of matches. Interestingly despite the rags win over the shameful capitulation of the taffies their odds haves drifted out slightly typically from 11-4 to 3-1 with City's moving in by the same degree and Chelsea's too. I think this was a reaction to the bookies seeing Utd as possibly the same old of last year minus the ginger thug and possibly shrek and thereby now vulnerable to the vastly improved looking us and chelski under new management and far better squads. I will be interested to see where they are in a week.

Meanwhile on the ever entertaining subject of what the bookies think will happen to the PL managers this season it will come as no surprise that the favourite to be the first departure is one Alan Pardew who has had his odds slashed after last night as has Brian Laudrup and Paolo di Canio. Given Sunderland's forthcoming fixture list and the idiot that is Mike Ashley/Pardew's daft contract you might want to consider di Canio a better investment now for a fiver at 12/1 (Pardew is at 6/4 in some places) .

It seems there is a lot of money on Chelsea purely because of the special one. He's smart enough to know though that he has basically the same players as last year - so he isn't shouting his mouth off!
