You'd figure that as a professional manager putting on a shirt and tie wouldn't be such hard work either.

If we are going to judge who should get the sack based on their performance at Stamford Bridge, there will be a lot of unemployed managers come the end of the season.

Not that bad, this is a very very good Chelsea side. If you want to see shit there were better examples this weekend.

Did you see the pre-match interview? Sweating like a fat pig he was, a picture of health and fitness.

No. I just saw him with his ill fitting button down and sloppy tie look. He looked like he'd just come off the lash and spent a grand on lapdances but didn't get to finish himself off.

Pardew. I think the owner wants him gone and that's why Kinear has been given a job. Just needs a good enough excuse.

And after just 15 mins of the new season as well - which paper do you write for Bluedj?

I can't stand Pardew but I dislike Kinnear even more so it would be a lose-lose scenario for me

If we're having a sweep then I'll take Hughes - but just so long as 'jumping ship' is seen to be the same as 'getting the sack' inasmuch as it's a parting of the ways of a club and it's manager. My guess is that Sparky will do a Regie Perrin late December while dirty stoke are sat nailed to the bottom on 0 points.

I think the first guy to go will be on the basis of a rash decision. Pardew is a good shout, maybe Mackay.

I reckon the first manager to go will leave of their own accord, not be sacked.

Wenger, Pochettino, Hughes or Pardew are my bets. I reckon Wenger will be managing outside European club football by this time next year. As will Pochettino.

I can't see Hughes being fired. Stoke knew who they were getting when they signed him, and he's a good fit for them - a mid-lower table club with no exceptional ambitions. They don't want to attract big-name signings, and he's able to grind out points toward the end of a season. I can see him walking, though, and possibly eyeing up Mackay's situation at Cardiff.
