A lad who never quite made it? Or future Barca superstar? I suspect the first.

Barcelona have signed Denis Suarez from Manchester City in a £1million deal.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder will join up with Barcelona's B team in the Segunda Division.

City remain keen on finding a new defender with Martin Demichelis of Atletico Madrid, Martin Skrtel of Liverpool and Real Madrid's Pepe among those being considered.

Gareth Barry is considering whether to go out on loan with Everton an option

Wherever he may end up in the future, he now has the possibility to play proper football in the Segunda División. Good luck to him.

Anybody, seen anything more official on this? He's still listed on the EDS squad at the moment. Did notice Boyata isn't in either the EDS or the 1st team though anybody know anything about this?

Good luck to him. He either needed to be in our 1st team squad or playing somewhere this season. It's not fair to hold him back. The Count gave him the chance to make an impression pre season & he failed to do anything to suggest he would be of use. Can play though.

Be interesting to see if Barca make anything out of him where we couldn't. Angel hasn't had much chance of a first team promotion there so far though.

It's vital we are seen to be giving players the chance to have a career, so the next generation will sign with us in confidence.

Tbh I'm much more concerned about losing Gaby Fernando, possibly to the rags. You can never tell if a kid will make it but he certainly has got talent. Someone has had a brown envelope there.

I had high hopes for him, was brilliant in the friendly in limerick last season but something just didnt work for him. No doubting his talent though, wish him well seems like a good guy.

was never going to make it here. wasn't great in the U21's or even in the EDS matches against poor opposition. best of luck to him anyway.

I would not do business with Everton for two reasons;

1. The amount they have screwed us for in transfers in the past

2. I would not provide a player to a squad that have two players that the rags want, I realise he is not the same position, but I wouldnt give them the option of shuffling their deck to accomodate both an in and an out.

Talented lad but a decent enough deal for us.

£1.5 million up front rising to £7 million if he does the business with a 20% sell on fee.

Lad could make it but still sits very much in the "potential" class at the minute. He never would have got close to the first team this or next season.

Pellegrini would be thinking more from Barry's perspective I guess, he has already agreed to let Barry go if he wants to and there is a good offer.

Barry is aiming for a place in England team, least we can do is let him if he is not playing with us. Glad that that it is not one of the top 4 teams, but indirectly might have an effect as you said.

According to the Daily Fail he's rejected a contract from us and is now training with the rags
