Watching the Derby in Florida

Has anyone got any ideas where a holidaying Blue can watch the Derby next Sunday in the Orlando area? It is going to be a late morning kick-off their time so can anyone recommend any bars/diners I could go to?

On a separate, but related, topic I think we will win in Czech and win the Derby. I feel Pellegrini is trying to map his season out by focussing on the Champs League and big games in the Prem. We have been unlucky losing Komps early doors as I think with him in the side the other 10 players would have had the confidence and drive to get a result at Stoke. We will come good, the attacking philosophy will sink in and our recruits will live up to expectations. I may have the mind set of someone who is about to go on holiday to Florida and this optimism may be unfounded. However, no team in the Prem has really impressed me so far and I am convinced every game is getting harder to win as sides set up to combat us in all departments.
Thanks.

i would doubt it. Much more like to be filled with ex-pats of a neutral variety, but there'll be a few of each. i don't think it's got any legit "lean" in terms of red or blue. This is orlando, so it's kinda whomever is around, etc. As you'll find in the States tho, invariably things are going to lean more filth than God's Own as they say.

It's about a 30 min drive north for you from Davenport but an easy shot up the I-4 if you are driving. If you have no car, etc then yr kinda fucked in Orlando. I don't know of anyplace in Davenport but i also don't know that area either.

Hope this helps. The match will be on NBC so you can probably find anyplace that's an American "sports bar" as we say that will likely have it on.

cheers

That brilliant my friend, thanks very much. We have got a car so will try to get to the Cricketers unless we stumble across somewhere much closer. We are all pretty used to watching footy in far flung locations and having to deal with the usual grotty assembly of dim witted Rags hellbent on telling you how they once saw a sign for the M60 on their way down south and it had "Trafford" written on it, making them loyal Reds!!

Appreciate your advice Doomy and here's to a deflected Yaya free-kick off the back of an Ashley Young back-turn in the 91st minute!!
