Fucking Howard Webb has been appointed referee for Sunday ... I'm sure on the request of Fergie (via text message to referee pals) to help out Gollum.

Did anyone seriously imagine that we'd have got an impartial referee for our first game against those cunts with their new arsewipe in charge? Not a fuckin' chance of that happening 'cos they know where a relatively small payment brings the best returns.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Give me Webb over Dowd, Atkinson, Foy or Clattenburg any day.
Mike Dean's the best ref but I reckon Webb is second. The purported Stretford bias thing is funny to wind up darksiders with but I don't actually believe it myself. I reckon Dowd is the worst one for it if you watch him closely. Think back to the 2011 Charity Shield (when we got nothing given) and the 2010 League Cup final.

I have a feeling the next 6 days will make or break our season, come Sunday evening if we have lost both games this place will implode!!!

We'll take them apart. Its the derby no half arsed performances its all or nothing!!!
Dont think vinny will be risked tomorrow but fingers crossed he'll be leading the team out! If all our players play to the best of their ability the thres points are ours for the taking.

Dowd absolutely fucked us over at Goodison Park a few years ago; giving free kicks every time one of our centre backs won a header. Eventually they scored from one.
I do think Webb is a bit less likely to shit on us than the others mentioned but only 'a bit'.

I hope they start Giggs. He's embarrassing at the moment.

Webbs had us 26 times and that's resulted in 14 wins, 6 draws and 6 losses with us getting 37 yellows, no double yellow events and 1 straight red. He's awarded 3 penalties in our favour. The opposition in those 26 games received 56 yellows, 2 double yellow (sending offs) and 1 straight red. He's awarded 1 penalty against us.
Hands up to those who smile benignly upon his bald bonce as the stats don't look so bad . . he's still a rag twat though.

I don't think he's that bad a ref to be honest - he tends to get the big matches from the FA as well as FIFA and our derby games are going to fall into that category.

Don't be soooooo negative, we've got what it takes and will 'click'. We're a team of winners, regardless of form.
Put it this way, if they don't, everyone of the feckers who doesn't put a shift in can walk for me.

So if we lose next two games, the Plzen away and the home derby ... Does the very next game become the most important game of the season? Cuz the way things are (on this board), that's all that'll be left for us by then ...

Great stats Herb. Now what's the stats for and against when he's reffed us against the devil-worshippers?
