Few of mine include the 3-1 in 04-05 I think as it was a few weeks before my 1st visit back and it hyped me right up for the footy before I got there.

1st leg of league cup semi. Tevez scared them shitless.


The worst for me

The Semi we won as I accidentally stepped 1 foot out the pub after lockout and wasn't let back in. Had to settle for a quick cab to a mates and radio commentary.

The 4-3 7 min of injury time. Still hurts.

2nd leg of the league cup. Seriously thought we'd never get past them in my lifetime that day.

The Semi I think has got to be the best, even better than the 6-1. How good that felt.

Worst was that Horton (?) team losing 5-0 at the Swamp in 1994. We were absolutely blooming shocking that day.

Winning "the biggest game in premier league history" was pretty special. Not the greatest match but the atmosphere looked awesome (from tele). Crowd signing to hey Jude was special.

As mentioned previously losing 3-2 in 1993 (I think) after being 2-0 up was painful.

I was sat in the stretford end for the 0-5, so that goes down as my worst memory. My best is the 1-0 that helped us win the title when Kompany scored.

Never felt so numb after a match in my life.

Best memory for me was the 5-1 it was my first derby and piccs had been telling me all morning that we were gonna get beat.

Worst memory sat in their end getting beat 5-0 I was the only kid at my school that could get a ticket not bad considering I was the only blue.

This is still mine. I was only about 8 at the time but there was a girl I liked, and she told me she would support Man City if we won or Man Utd if they won. I was devastated when we lost.

Worse than that is she actually followed through with that stupid promise and remained a Utd fan ever since. That bitch.

Yeah my first instinct was to say the 6-1 was the best, but actually after we beat them 1-0 I was physically shaking now that it had become possible we really could win the league. Those weeks were insanely emotional.

Worst defeats have been some of the recent ones - the 3-2 last season for a start. My early years watching football were basically in the 80s and 90s, so 5-1 apart, it was a game we usually lost, often badly - I'd arranged to meet my rag mate after the 5-0, whatever the result. He was amazed to walk in the pub after being at the game and find me sat there, but that's the difference between us - City fans can accept the shit and laugh it off.

In terms of wins, the semi final was a great one, partly as I expected typical City and we'd blow it and partly that after about 30 minutes of being battered we realised we were a better team than them. I still think that second half gave us the belief to win the title the following season.

The 1-6 was obviously great, especially as those goals cost them the title. But the 1-0 at home that season was when we put the title back in our hands and the pressure and relief of that game was something else.

Alright I didn't want to write anything during the game when I posted this but I have to say a derby is so fucking painful. The second half was painful to watch until the last 10 minutes. I always very nervous for these games. They give the biggest thrill if we win but I pay with a couple of months of life with the nervousness before and during the game.

A comfy derby for me would be to score 8 goals in the first ten minutes, have all the forwards in United sick from some food-poisoning and, yeah all the attacking mids as well. And then have United earn three red cards in the first five minutes. After that I would enjoy the game.
