Think he is the first centre forward I have ever seen bully Vidic. Yes Torres used to run rings round him a few years back, but never seen Vidic over powered before. Very impressed indeed.

Hugely impressed with him. He is a strong lad. absolutely bullied vidic for sergios 2nd. He is unreal in the air, if he starts enough games he will score for fun.

He shouldnt keep shooting from outside the box though!

At least he should only shoot from distance with his left foot!!

I mentioned in another thread but it's worth repeating, the Premier League is waking up to just how scared they should be of him.

We've obviously been spoilt over the last few years with the flair of Tevez and Aguero but it's a long, long time since we've had a dominant, strong, target-man centre forward. Negredo is everything you'd want in a number 9 - fantastic in the air, strong as an ox, holds the ball up superbly but what's equally impressive is his ability to spot other players' runs and play them through.

Even if he only scores 10 goals this season, his all-round contribution will be huge. Fantastic signing.

I just can't get over his touch/control either..for a unit he can pluck the ball from the air no problem..and as for holding it..like I said

Was gonna start a thread on this - on yesterday's evidence him and Sergio could form a fearsome partnership

The beast should start instead of Dzeko in the league and champ league. A much better player in my opinion. Good 1st touch, strong, great header of the ball and can actually pass the ball.
