Posted: Mon Sep 23, 2013 12:51 pmWe've obviously been spoilt over the last few years with the flair of Tevez and Aguero but it's a long, long time since we've had a dominant, strong, target-man centre forward. Negredo is everything you'd want in a number 9 - fantastic in the air, strong as an ox, holds the ball up superbly but what's equally impressive is his ability to spot other players' runs and play them through.
Even if he only scores 10 goals this season, his all-round contribution will be huge. Fantastic signing.
