Great leader on the pitch and plain talker in interviews.

I'm not going to argue with him, that's for sure!

So what exactly does he do in this role? Loved Morrison but never had him down as a City fan, in which case I might question his appointment - if I knew what the feck his role was?!?

Replaces Paul Lake I guess, the club looking after old players now that we have cash to do so which makes a nice PR story.

Getting players who we can all identify with from past times ('when we were shit') whilst helping them out financially perhaps?

Interesting that the club invited Kev Horlock back this weekend just gone, the sheikh or his team seem keen on links to the past players.

Some may see it as cynical as in just more PR but I personally see it as a good thing, helping boost the coffers of the ex players who may or may not have managed themselves (financially) so well after leaving the game. It's not like they earned what the current players do, if Morrison is lucky he will be paid probably 20% of one of our average players weekly wage! per year (if that).

But if that means he can do what Lakey did, turn up on match days, do work in the community, charity events then all good and well.

IMHO

Ok Morrison arguably isn't as much of legend as Paul Lake in some ways, but he is remembered fondly by many?

Bet your bottom dollar the Goat now gets flown in first class at no expense to himself for the big games, he's another who seems to be more regular these days?

Like I say, peanuts to the club these days, but does wonders for the fans and also the PR machine :-)

He is a fan and has paid to get in quite a few times. He was sat with The Goat amongst the City fans at teh swamp in the FA Cup tie about 8 years ago. Funny as fuck as The Goat wore a hat to try to disguise himself but he was inevitably outed early doors.

Big Andy is certainly a City hero from recent times.

He lives over here, now, saw an interview with him where he said he is looking to get into the coaching side of things and has moved back to the UK.
