Particularly noteworthy is that he didn't stand out at all until the last few minutes when the regular lads started to tire...

One of my favourite players for us. Classic winger with pace to burn. One of the quickest players on the ball I've seen and was a wonderful crosser aswell.
He was exceptional in the 2-1 at OT also.
Shame he got injured the next season as it would have been interesting to see how he would have linked up with Robinho/ Ireland/SWP in that season.
Then Mancini tried to turn him into a right winger for some bizarre reason despite the fact anyone who's ever seen him play knew he was far better on the left.
We've missed a player like that for years, hope Navas can be something similar.

Its a good publicity stunt, secretary of our club tried to sign him but he's entertaining several professional offers.

He was playing as a centre forward to be fair to him.

Oddly, i nearly got a Chorlton Torpedo last year and i thought for sure it was something different than a footy club. Lesson learned.
