Looking forward to getting back on track. Assume Carroll is still out for the Hammers. Just as well if he is as he always seems to play well against us and has scored a few as well. Hope all our boys return safely from respective international duties with minimal fatigue. Suspect Pellers will assess whos fit before deciding on players. Personally hope to see
Hart

Zabba, Nasty, Lescott, Kola

Milner, Yaya, Fernandinho, Nasri, Navas

Negredo

Would go 5 in midfield to give defence a helping hand. I know theres no Silva but think Nasri has earned his place. Subs of Silva, Dzeko, Aguero, Jojo should be enough to turn a game if we are losing though to be honest dont think we will. West Ham haven't looked like scoring a lot this year( the 3 v spuds aside) & dont think a 5 man midfield would give them an inch especially with pace of Navas to hit them on counter

Forgot about that donkey. However would be more concerned if they fielded Norris Cole

They managed to turn Spuds over 3-0 at WHL................. Spuds did what we have been guilty of i.e. thinking that pulling on the shirt before going on the field was enough!

Did you watch the game? 3-0 was an injustice, spurs battered them for large periods but WHU put the ball in the net, they only had 4 attacks in the whole game, these things happen. It does not make them a good outfit all of a sudden, they played without a striker for the whole game and got VERY LUCKY.

After West Hams tactics against Spurs I can't understand how BFS hasn't been snapped up by the likes of Barca, Real et al.

*Mind Boggling*

Hart
Micah - Demi - Kinglon - Kola
Jack - Yaya
Jesus - Nasri - Merlin
Aguero

Reasons for my choices ... let's start up top and work our way back ... Aguero is fresher as didn't play today, plus keep Negredo for Moscow ... Midfield: fill it with 5, Nasri thru centre based on his performances there, Navas for speed and Merlin to round up and should be enough to cover as well as create ... Rodwell is fit so better give him game here than against Moscow or Chelsea. At the back: Zaba's been on duty plus travelling, but Micah's been sitting here so rotation there, same way sit Clichy and Nasti for next game and play Kola and Lescott ... squad rotation, nothing else ... and finally Demichelis to debut in place of injured Komps, another reminder of why did we let Kolo go for free?

As Freshie pointed out, I was more talking about complacency than who is actually the better team, until we find some sort of consistency in actually winning then I for one will certainly not mock the opposition, we are not in a position to do so yet this season.

All for a bit of banter and piss take but it is the so called lesser teams that have so far cost us points.

For the record, what I originally posted was pretty much what the lass who sits opposite me at work said, season ticket holder for last 15yrs (she is also a FA qualified referee). In her words it was like watching your lot the other week, we dominated, outclassed and thought we deserved to win because we are the better team and then.... Hold on you can't do that to us..... Goodbye 3 points!!

Hear you but Negredo is in such a fine form, should be given starts in both the games to boost confidence. Take him off at half time against Westham, but he is starting .

I wish that bicycle kick of Negredo was a goal, went so close many a times

Always had a soft spot for the Hammers since Trev & Bish were inexplicably sold to them.would like to see them do well as they have history of playing it around. Even under Big Sam they play some nice stuff. Will have to keep tabs on Morrison as well, ran the under 21s last night & is turning into the player we thought Rodders would. Deffo require the extra man in midfield methinks

I've a few Hammers mates. As they like a bit of rhyming slang they call him "Where's the goal"
