Man Of The Match v West Ham

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Oct 19, 2013 6:45 pm

Seeing that Slim has had to slip out of the lounge.

I know many will go for Sergio but I think there were a few that made it happen. This is the 1st game where I'd say we're seeing the best of Fernando and at the same time Yaya had a good game. Silva, Nasri?

I went for Kun as he scored two and made one - he had a good match all round really. Dave could very easily have got my vote though.

(You might want to delete your other thread by the way, you seem to have created this poll twice)

Silva for me. It's so great to see him back to his old self. He's an incredible football player.

Silva, Fernandinho, Negredo and Yaya all stood out for me, and I thought Richards had a good game as well, but Aguero was particularly outstanding in this one with his two goals and assist. I like the fact that he's becoming more and more of a team player and not primarily for his own glory.

Should be a lot of happy Blue's tonight and even moreso due to the Rags score. Enjoy it back in Manchester, there should be smiles all around.

Ferni had his best game for us since he joined. Silva was great today but had to give it to Kun as he made the win happen.

Just Sergio but got to agree Silva was excellent.Just like I saw in training on Thursday the ball was sticking to him and he fully deserved his goal.

Interesting to see Franny Lee giving Yaya just 5/10 in a tweet. Thought he slowed the game down too much is what he said.

After the week I've had, I barely trust myself to vote in the poll, let alone post it.

I may have voted for Garcia, but I intended to vote for Aguero.

Two goals, one assist. Wish I had those points in my team this week, fucking Lukaku.

I went for Silva. He was involved in much of our attacking play today and scored a great goal.

But there were several contenders today - Aguero, Negredo, Yaya and Fernandinho all played well today.

I'm sure Tevez will have a good chuckle if he reads this and the matchday thread ;-)

Plenty of good performances but Fernandinho for me.He worked his socks off in midfield and that pass for Agueros 1st was a thing of beauty. He looks to be playing with an air of confidence now and his workrate off the ball is great, he has a serious engine he really gets about the pitch.

I went for the Merlin, he was everywhere today and at the heart of everything good, great creativity, workrate, tracking back, getting stuck in and a fabulous finish for his goal. Sergio was excellent too, as was the Beast and agreed with many, Ferdi's best game since he arrived. Micah had a good game and Joe did well too. I thought Clichy is still off form and although Yaya did some good stuff today, he looked very laboured, slowed things down way to much and got caught on the ball to many time and lost the ball quite a few times.
