Aaron Ramsey..

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Aaron Ramsey..

Postby Bridge'srightfoot » Mon Oct 21, 2013 2:52 pm

Been brilliant this season aint he? He's always seemed to me a player who had potential but hadn't really made the step up he was capable of. He's already scored 9 goals and the times I've seen him, he's been brilliant with his passing, dribbling, movement and finishing.

Think Arsenal are gonna be a a right threat with him and Ozil in the same team. Or will Arsenal do what they normally do and sell him as soon as a big club comes knocking and replace him with some French 14 year old?

his purple patch will end and he'll fade into obscurity once again. all of the arse players are playing out of their skins atm, but that too will end.

I'm not sure what to make of him to be honest.

Since joining Arsenal he has been pretty underwheling and now all of a sudden he looks a different player, it's a strange one.
I don't think anyone could have foreseen him having a start to the season like he has and I'm just not sure he is capable of maintaining a high level of performance.

Almost seems like a better version of the Ireland wonder season. Years of potential but not quite making it and then all of a sudden everything just clicks. Yes we all know what's happened to Ireland since.
But he looks such a complete player atm.

His name makes me think of Gordon. He scores, he passes but can he cook?

Cant argue that he's having a brilliant season so far. Is it 11 goals already. Thats more than Welbeck Cleverly & Chicarito will score between them.

Whether he does it next year remains to be seen but he's young enough to be a very good player for years to come. Not many players from the Arse have 1 great season then fade away. Am sure there are 1 or 2 but not many

The press were sucking Liverpools dick, now they are sucking on Arsenals.

Fucking goal of the year blah blah, goal of the season blah blah blah.

Arsenal are nothing more than perennial bottlers who will roll over and take it right up the dirt box when they meet the scum and kick start their season.

How you can argue with those goals being considered for goal of the season?

And Steven Ireland v2 does it again.

Him and Ozil in the same team atm is quite something.

Didn't see any of the games yesterday only the goals. It was more based on the season so far rather than yesterday.

I really can't tell if Ramsey will keep this up or not. It's not normal for a player to improve so massively in such a short period of time!

Has he been to a Spanish doctor recently?

The Arse have a strong midfield at present, but as always thier squad is very thin and injuries to key players would weaken them.

Saying that, i don't see how Walcott or Oxlaid-Chamberlin are going to get back in the team now once the return from injury, the current players are head and shoulders above both.

He's actually the third best player in the world at the moment.
