Can't believe there's no match thread. Kick off in an hour, or have I got my timezones wrong.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

given the shit pitch and with this being an away match, i would have started milner instead of navas. bring on navas at 60 when defense is tiring.

edit: also would have started nasri and rested silva.

Hmm. Not sure this is the game for Navas or Garcia - we havent found any game for Garcia yet though.

A positive result here and the group opens right up. A defeat and we are right up shite creek again. Come on City ffs.

Garcia has the trust of the manager so have some faith.Perfect for Navas flying down the wing where the pitch is at it's best.

I do hope it's not too cold for our Spanish contingent. Other than Hart, who do you think shall be sporting some thermal mittens?

Maybe San Pellegrino just felt Nasri, Dzeko and Jovetic are more suited to this game. ;o)

Nasri must be pissed at his relegation as well, he has been playing well and Silva comes back and raises his game another notch. At least we have two very good players fighting for that position.

Given CSKA Moscows recent form of results and lack of goal scoring I have high hopes for 3 points this evening. Come on City!!!!

I think we basically need a better aggregate score in the two games against CSKA to qualify. We should be able to do that.
