This Weekends Other Games

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Oct 26, 2013 11:18 am

Apart from the Palace v Arsenal game, not too predictable this week. Can anybody see anything other than the Arse being top come Sunday evening (how easy has their start been)?

Rags might be a difficult one.

Liverpool v West Brom 15:00
Rags v Stoke 15:00
Norwich v Cardiff 15:00
Southampton v Fulham 17:30

Tomorrow

Sunderland v Newcastle 13:30
Chelsea v Man City 16:00
Swansea v West Ham 16:00
Tottenham v Hull 16:00

1 Arsenal 8 9 19
2 Chelsea 8 9 17
3 Liverpool 8 6 17
4 Man City 8 11 16
5 Tottenham 8 3 16
6 Southampton 8 5 15
7 Everton 8 2 15
8 Man Utd 8 1 11
9 Hull 8 -2 11
10 Newcastle 8 -3 11
11 Swansea 8 1 10
12 West Brom 8 1 10
13 Aston Villa 8 -1 10

Stoke were great against us but will be terrible against Utd and get beat 1 or 2 nil. It would make my weekend if Moyes drops more points here.

Other games are tough to predict as you said. I've a good feeling about West Brom getting something at Anfield.

That'll make 2 terrible teams then ;-)

Hughes won't lie down for the Rags but at the same time have they got the quality? They have won away from home this season (Hammers) and with the Rags current form (last 6: W2 L3 D1, only beating the bottom 2 clubs) I could envisage at least a draw.

Bloody hell, Palace get another shot in on, having a decent game now. Not sure how long it will last though.

Chamakh should have scored. Palace could get lucky here. Would have had it as a certain Arse win

Palace shoot themselves in the foot. Shit way to give a penalty.

Arteta sent off for being last man. Bit harsh.

The sort of decision which is right if its for you and wrong if its against you. The letter of law says last man goes even if hes just past halfway.

I thought it was '..from stopping a goal scoring opportunity'. Either way, come on Palace!

To be fair once the forward is goalside of defender he only has to run 20 yards to get a shot off so it is a goal scoring opportunity as there was no one else to stop him.

Amen to come on Palace. Think there is another goal in this & hope for Palace

Weak effort from CP. Never looked like scoring after sczensny(or however the fcuk u spell it) saved that volley.
