Do Canaries Talk?

Finally back to the creature comforts of being at home, and against a team which should not cause us too many problems. I am wary of being too hopeful, because I have done that before this season, and it’s gone very wrong. I do think we are due a cricket score, and I can see that happening at The Etihad. However, three points and a clean sheet and I will be happy.

The Norwich boards are horrible to navigate, and there isn’t much to share with you. I have grabbed a few words of wisdom.

Team Selection:

Ruddy
Martin, Turner, Bassong, Olsson
Redmond, Howson, Fer, Pilkington
Elmander
Hooper

My Favourite:

I can't remember the last time I felt less optimistic going into a game. My hopeful side is thinking that maybe we could keep the loss down to two goals.Anyone got a bit of bravado or logic that could inspire me to think more optimisticaly?

And the rest.....Enjoy:

Man City seemed a bit lack lustre when I watched them play Newcastle, for parts of the game Newcastle were way better
I could easily see a "6 defenders" look with Whittaker and Olsson as the wingers, and us just trying to stifle Man City and try and grab a point. Johnson holding too, with just Fer, Howson and a striker given any real license to get forward.

The only sides to get anything at the Etihad are the adventurous ones who have a go like you did last year Come to defend it will be a rout

It's actually fairly obvious that, statistically, teams are much more likely to get points off the big boys with well-organised defences. While I'd love to see another five goal thriller, it really isn't a long term strategy to survival. And yes, it does feel like regularly when teams sit back you thrash them, but I think you'll find it's actually that you just regularly push teams back and regularly thrash them... Chicken and egg...

Nope - we are going to get thumped good and proper, anything less will be a bonus

There is always a chance in football, look at all the giant killing acts over the years, they might hit the woodwork 10 times, have three perfectly legitimate goals ruled out for offside and then they might score a own goal in the 93rd minute - see it's easy.

Here is a selection of their predictions:

Man City 2 v 0 Norwich
Man City 2 v 1 Norwich
Man City 3 - 0 Norwich
Man city 8 -0 Norwich
Man City 6 v 0 Norwich

I usually treat my body like a temple. Last night I treated mine like a whorehouse above a liquor store next to a motherfucking Taco Bell.

She was probably trying to find an outlet which still had one of Jamie's wonderful pies left. Or does that only happen in the cheap seats
