Yet another game with a few candidates. Aguero excellent again but I am bored giving it to him.Yaya was good but I am not sure he broke out of 2nd gear all match. Nasri really good again and deserved a goal for his quality and effort.I also liked Fernandinho who continues to impress me but I have to go for Merlin today.
The guy is a joy to watch. What a midfield we have with those 4 but it's Merlin that really makes it so so good.

I'm probably going against the grain but Fernandinho gets it for me. I thought he was outstanding today and deserves recognition. Nasri, Silva and Aguero were superb yet again.

Aguerro - just non-stop work and total class

Agree with Doug, tough choice but Silva stands out - he was everywhere and the work he put in to get the cross for Kun's goal was typical of his terrier type attitude and intelligence.

Silva is back to his best and makes us tick. Him for me.

Good call - he was outstanding - I went for Sergio - but only just

Aguero, he is having the season I thought we would get from him LAST season (if it wasn't for Maradona's daughter)

Was a toughy this week.
I went for Aguero for his work rate,Silva was also exceptional and Fernandinho had a good performance.

Echo others thoughts. Thought Nasri had a great game...as shown by the reaction in the ground as he went off.
Silva an Aguero both fantastic....just amazing players to watch when on their game and they are bang on it currently.
I'm going for Fernandinho though. What a game he had. He was bloody everywhere and some of his passing, positioning and workrate was just outstanding. Jettisoning GazBaz was crazy in terms of the issues it immediately gave us but this guy is a definite and significant upgrade potentially

On the subject of Nasri I thought he was great today. What I liked about him is that he didn't actually try and be like Silva.
That's the problem we've had with Nasri in my opinion. He's not a David Silva and there's absolutely no point in him thinking he is. He's not quite as good at flitting between the lines and playing little short passes and opening the game up as well as Silva is. He doesn't see the pitch 'quite' as well (better than most admittedly, but not as good as Silva)... What he actually is probably our most effective dribbler when he gets going. He's most effective when he decides to be direct. He can suddenly up the tempo, take out a couple of defnders and become a clear goal threat. His footwork is utterly fantastic and when he actually starts playing one twos and darting at people he skips past challenges with ease. He did it in his breakthrough season with Arsenal scoring several wonder goals and he's showed in glimpses this season that he's capable of it for us too. David Silva, as great as he is, isn't quite as good at that as Nasri is, and he's certainly not as good a finisher as Samir is either. I hope Nasri realises that and has confidence in his own game and plays to his own strengths.
Nasri's got a huge part to play in Pellegrini's City if he wants it enough. He should be encouraged to run at people when he feels like it. He's got such good feet that he rarely gives the ball away when he does it. He's that good at it - its just frustrating that he doesn't do it more often.
I'm hoping Silva and him have realised that they both can play together and not clog each other's space like they used to. They seemed to actively enjoy today fully well knowing that they were just too good technically for Norwich. They just toyed with them - it was great.
Nasri aside i also shared the view that Ferni was fantastic and Silva appears to be back to his very best and it's fucking great. He's simply wonderful on this form.

I also went for Fernandinho. He did nothing wrong today.

Spot on analysis: it wouldn't be quite right to say he's our Iniesta to Silva's Xavi - as Silva is far more than just a pass-maestro - but it helps to illustrate their different, if complementary, range of skills.
Nasri has an impressive combination of strength and footwork, which frequently enables him to burrow between a wall of opposing defenders, and still retain enough balance at the other side to get a shot off on goal

Silva without a doubt, but voted for Nasri just to keep him up there
Nasri become very good with those curving long balls which Aguero latches onto, this is the second time I have seen that happen between the pair. Good counter attack

Nasri for me, his passing and corners are much better than Silvas , in his current form.

His passing isn't better in any way; but his corners are infinitely infinitely better

A good call, he is very much finding his way now which is particularly pleasing considering some of the drivel written in a previous thread about him.
However Silva is back to his best right now and I couldn't see past him in terms of a motm. He changed our fortunes in midweek at Newcastle and carried on where he left off against Norwich.

some great performances all round but i've gone with merlin, class act. I think this was a view shared by many at the match as he received a standing ovation when subbed.

Aguero. I've mentioned it previously, but ever since the Bayern players criticized his work rate he has responded in the best way possible.
I expect him to score against the Munchens too.
