He had every right to smile tonight, and every right to feel loved - he had a cracking game. Would have been in the running for MoTM if it hadn't been for even better performances from Aguero and Negredo.

Ii never agreed with slagging players off to the media, and that was part the reason Mancini was sacked.

He feels loved and as a consequence his football has improved, some players are sensitive, they are humans after all.

Was close for MOM tonight, for me the Beast edged it.

Excellent post mate.

We have amazing fans, but some love to slag off certain players without ever really getting behind them.

Nasris a funny one tho. His name has been mud in my house at times, but it's because I know he's supremely talented and at times wasted it.

That said I mostly just assumed it was him being French.

Been superb this season so far and full credit when credit is due, he really seems to have benefited from the Mancini departure.

He is the classic example.

Very impressed with him lately.

I will openly admit to wanting him gone this time last year simply because his performances were not good enough. He didn't put the hard yards in and was anonymous in a lot of games. Milner was a much better option.

I don't see any problem with that really because we all want what's best for the team and at that time he wasn't it.

However, he has been superb so far this season and, while you could question his attitude at times in the past, his ability has never been in doubt.

If it had to with Mancini then there won't be any excuse if he goes off the boil again but long may these performances continue.

He has the ball on a string at the moment. It's his ball, sometimes he likes to share.

He's going to score a really spectacular goal soon, like the attempt against Norwich without the post getting in the way

With his new found direct play and vigour, combined with the resultant increase in competitive game-time, I have the thought that he can only continue to develop his playing relationships and become even better than the amazing player he already is.

He is our most improved player this season and is playing incredible football if it's not Silva causing mayhem its Samir and i have to say it's a joy to watch.

Keep up the good work and save that worldie goal for Arsenal.

You can tell confidence is high when Samir knocks the ball 20 yards and tries to out sprint a full back lol.

Great to see him playing well, but................. soft twat. So he didn't play well last season, despite the massive wages etc, because he didn't feel loved!! FFS he could have made a difference last season if he had played like he is doing now. Really pissed me off when I saw the interview.

Show the softy some more love i say. It's about time he started playing to his potential. He's a really good player to watch when he's on top form like this, looks like he's playing with real purpose everytime he gets hold of the ball.

Some folk need more love than others.

Regardless of wages.

He was inconsistent last season, true, but it's not fair to say that he was poor throughout. In fact he was in good form in our last few games.
