Will Micah make the cut or will smalling and Jones from the rags, Kelly and Johnson from the scousers plus Kyle Wanker all be ahead of him? Will Lescott and Milner be included? Jimmy should be a shoe in for me.
I think Joe will be in the squad but dropped for the friendlies so the other keepers get a run out.

I can only see Milner and Hart involved in this squad at the moment.
Micah if fit and playing regularly should be the starting right back.Maybe i'm being biased as a City fan but i really do think he could do a far better job than any of the other donkeys that get played at right back.

Oh great, 2 meaningless friendlies right in the middle of a huge run of City fixtures in November and December.
Personally I hope no City player is selected by any country, or at least the ones that are pull out with phantom minor injuries so they get a rest for the upcoming run of games.
The sole purpose of two friendly games at Wembley next week is to utilise this as a revenue raiser to help pay for Wembley stadium itself.

I can't see Micah being named - Hodgson plays central defenders there ahead of him. Poor guy.

The FA don't decide it's International Week - this break is for the World Cup play off and is designated an international break by FIFA.
Better for our England players to play at home rather than travel to the far east or Dubai for a friendly

True but will our Argentinian players be off to South America?
Ecuador v Argentina on 16th and Argentina v Edins Bosnia on the 19th
Equitorial Guinea v Spain on 15th and South Africa v Spain on 19th

The only consolation is that, hopefully, it will Kompany a little bit more time to get over his injury, before our League campaign re-starts.
Other than that, it's a frustrating and worrying time.

It is a bit of a joke, this incessant inclusion of unremarkable average players, just because they're rags.

I didn't say anything about who decides what international week it is, my point is that England are playing two friendlies instead of one, both at home, and the sole purpose of having two games at home is to revenue raise, not for any great plan to develop the team.
That squad looks subpar, but then again so do most England squads. Ruddy, Johnson, Jones, Smalling, Walker, Cleverley, Henderson and Rodriguez simply don't belong at that level of football.
