The view from the [strike]Away[/strike] Home end

I have had a soft spot for Sunderland fans since that great day in May 2012 when they celebrated our success in front of the rag fans. They seem to be a little divided over this game and can’t quite make up their mind if it’s going to be a narrow victory, or a crashing defeat. I have to admit to being a little confused myself. Let’s look at the facts; we are away to Sunderland, without Kompany. What could go wrong? The strange thing is I am quietly confident, in fact I can’t wait.
Team Selection
--------------------Mannone-----------------------
Bardo---------JOS----------Wes-----------Colback
-----------------------Ki------------------------------
--AJ-------Gardner--------Seb-----------Giac
--------------------Fletcher----------------------
My Favourite
Not very good are they?
Can only manage 12 goals in 2 games:twisted
And the rest:
A lot depends on injuries, Westwood if fit will start on the bench for me, Mannone did nothing wrong and is cool when the ball is at his feet, a little to cool at one point.
The big question is Fletcher who must start but who drops out?
Then we have Gardner and Larsson, who starts?
I think Giaccerini if fit should start, he offers something different so is it a straight swap, Fletcher for Altidore?
Surely our luck against them can't go on forever. Can it.
SAFC have a great Home record against Man City in recent years but that will not continue on Sunday...
SAFC 1-4 Man City
Fletcher for us & Aguero, Yaya Toure, Negredo & Dzeko for the Citeh boys.
Another defeat closer to the Championship.
If there was ever a game for Adam Johnson to shine, it surely is against his former Club?
Considering he will be playing against a different former Club next Season - he should take the opportunity on Sunday
They owe us big time for recent times and I expect them to come at full strength and highly motivated. Anyone else love Mancini's post match interview last season when he said City wouldn't bother coming to us for this fixture this season as it was a waste of their time and they would look to save the travelling costs!
I said on chat box during Saturday's game, when their score got to six, "How good is that - lose Tevez and still score six!"
I think it's essential for us to put seven defenders on Aguero at all times. If we do that, we might just keep it down to five. I also think it's essential to put Ji on around 80 minutes. He'll score, y'know - it's the sort of Sod's Law thing that so often happens.
Well they are crap away from home and we are just crap so I am expecting a good game
Will be a tad crowded in the Sunderland half..
I reckon Celustka and Giacc will be unfit.
so Bardsley rb, Jozy reprieved up front - to net the winning goal
1-3 Citeh, Fletcher for us, Negredo (2) and Silva for them
