Injuries killing us

Kompany is always injured. And we are average without him.
Silva is injured again and we look clueless without him.
Fernandinho was looking class in the last 3-4 games and he gets injured.
Richards was good in 2011-12 season and since then he has always been injured.
Rodwell is always injured. Has he even played 2 full games ever?
Jovetic is injured since some time now.
And then Nastasic gets injured.

Last season, Aguero, Kompany and Silva lost form due to injuries which really damaged us.

Garcia wouldn't have started if we didn't have injuries. It's pissing me off.

In the title-winning season, we had the fewest injuries. Was it luck or has there been some sort of change in training or medical personnel that has changed this?

Don't forget the mighty Garcia is now injured, surely without him we will be left fighting relegation.

Maybe he's onto something...
Chelsea should sack mourinho as well. Spurs should sack avb, the rags should sack moyes and arsenal should sack wenger.

Come on, do it. Let's hire managers that will give us an exciting league ffs.

Shit play big time. I disagree on the team selection bit though...

Who would you have selected for this match, out of interest?

Ricgards at centre half instead of Lescott and Zabs at full back, Kolarov never. Navas or Rodwell to start instead of Garcia. Hart back in goal.

I agree on garcia.

Clichy has been garbage and zabba not much better.

I definitely would worry about richards and Demechelis at centre half, as I would about continuing to play hart regardless.

I saw about 5 or 6 players playing below par today and I'm unsure what manager would have won when this is the case.

Don't get me wrong, I've had a go over certain selections and tactics, but garcia aside, today was a day for blaming players.

FFS Lescott again.

He was so shit at Newcastle that he deserved to be left out today ? And I take it he was so shit today that he doesn't deserve another game ?

Ted, taking no notice of the screamers but can you put your finger on why we keep struggling away yet looking invincible at home. we seem to start off with the wrong mindset regardless of who is manager a lets wait and see approach which makes it difficult to get going. We are often very flat in the first 20 mins with passes in midfield going to players in no better positions than the passer. Ya Ya always seems to take 20 mins to get his mind focussed and his legs moving. Many of us thought it was Mancini negativism but it obviously runs deeper than that. Today the inclusion of Garcia and Milner out wide sent a defeatist message I thought from which we never recovered in the first half. Its certainly got me scratching my bonce.

Not Garcia. Undefendable selection by our very highly paid manager. Not selecting Garcia would have made the world of difference. Zabs can play where Garcia played.

Garcia was the big problem today imo. Other than that; teams are not as good away from home on the whole. Even Barca. We are the same, but we are not finding a way to win wheras the best do.

Imo, it hasn't been the same reason in any game this season though; people have taken it in turns to fuck up. Today, Demichelis could have just jogged alongside Milner & cleared up, but just stood there like a cunt & let it go. No idea why.

Garcia fucked up the whole team 1st half imo, but 2nd half we did most things right. Sunderland stuck everyone in the box & got away with it. If we had been playing our passing game from the kickoff, I doubt Sunderland would have lasted 90 mins.

V Villa I thought we were great, then the defence fucked up, outplayed Chelsea but the defence fucked up, outplayed W Ham & won, same with CSKA.

We were very dodgy v Stoke & Cardiff but I recon we have been the best team in all our away games since & are largely doing it right except for stupid moments at the back. Some players were below par today but for an away side, once Garcia had fucked off, we were pretty good. Same at Chelsea. I doubt rags or Arsenal will play better if they don't get a lead in the game. Score one & we probably score five, but Sunderland defended for their lives & it worked on the day. We tried most avenues of attack & they stopped it.

We beat Utd at our place under Sven with a similar rearguard action to Sunderland today. We defended well then & they defended well today.

My only worry is the daft mistakes there are several every game. Cut those out & we will win 95% of our games imo, fail & we win fuck all.

This idea that the manager should be changed is pure thick. Please stop peddling that nonsense.

I agree with that, Ted but its the "finding the way to win" that's the problem. What I don't understand is why Ya Ya doesn't just say "fuck this, I'll score two" Its as if he thinks he's only allowed to pass. Not the most sophisticated analysis I know but if he was driving into the box with or without the ball, surely he would cause mayhem.

It's not the injuries ... it's the attitude ... and more players to blame for than the manager for me ...
